"Buy a piece of software and only pay shipping (7.50).. Sounds good, right? Well, not necessarily.

You only get the CD(s) in a slip, and I would say most of the stuff they have is not worth the price they charge (considering you only get the CDs). But you're only paying shipping! No, not really. The fact is, the actual shipping cost for my package was 60 cents. So I guess I actually paid $6.90..

In my case, it was X-Com Apocalypse. While I think the game is worth 7.50 (just barely), I think they use the "only pay shipping" to trick you. I mean, if you only had to pay shipping, then I would have been charged what, 60 cents? When you take into account handling, that wouldn't add much to the charge, since the shipping was done by user printed labels. Then add the envelope, and I would say the actual total for shipping (handling and packaging) would have come to maybe 2.50.. So, I actually paid 5.00 for the game. So while what they offer sounds like a bargin, they, of course, are getting profit (why else would they be in buisness?)

BUT, I am not dissatisfied. I got the game quickly (I only live 90 miles away from their shipping center), and it let me replace a sold copy of the game from my X-Com trilogy set (rather cheaply too)."
