"You have to be an advocate for your customers when things go wrong with their shipment. You have contacts when you are setting up a shipment, but no contacts when your customers have to file a claim? If you do, you are unwilling to share their name (your words, not mine). Who are you protecting here? I find little value in your service. I can go online directly to a carriers website and get the same service. Also, you say that you get discounts through Freightcenter, funny, I have received better pricing going directly to a carrier. Not in all instances, but you just have to look at different carriers when shipping to different parts of the U.S."

"Freightcenter messed up on the pick-up and the carrier came out twice. The carrier charged for coming out the 2nd time and Freightcenter passed the fee on to us when it was their fault. They are only willing to refund us part of the fee spread out over our next 3 shipments. I guess they're willing to loose a customer instead of doing the right thing. "

Also, if you are shipping something that is over 14 ft long I wish freight center would tell you the oversize fee along with the quote. I learned the hard way to call and get it quoted directly.
