"They quoted one price for shipping, damaged the new property during delivery, the delivered it 2 weeks late. They are now trying to extort an extra $286 over their own quoted price and charged my credit card on file without permission. They need to be investigated for fraudulent practices and put out of business so further consumers are not hurt. "I contacted Freight Quote to haul steel out of Minnesota for me and the original online quote was for about 3K of tube steel, during the quote process we added plate to the order which increased our weight to 20k. I expressed to them to quote this added material and to quote as a full truck load and received a quote of $1200.00. Now mind you I had a company truck 42K the day before from the same location and got it for $825.00. With that said I was ok with the price do to short notice, then I get a call from some farmer that was sent to pick up my load and he states he can only haul 14K. Why the hell would I pay top dollar to haul 3K of tube steel. Not happy with Freight Quote & will never do business with then again! Stay Away!"
"I wouldn't use Freightquote again if my life depended on it. Freightquote messed up a shipment (by their own admission) that was a Friday guarentee delivery using fedex. They sent the BOL but never arranged for pick up. Today when I contacted Tanner Brous about this error, he pretty much said "sorry there is nothing we can do" . Now I'm stuck having to pay over $1000.000 more to get this to my customer on time with no help from Freightquote. What a shady way to do business. If you make a mistake, you should own it. You have lost my companies business."
"I sold an item on eBay and the eBay link connected to freightquote.com. I spoke with an agent who was helpful at first then failed to respond to phone calls AT all. The buyer also had a very difficult time reaching the agent. TEN days after the item was sold on eBay and after several inquiries about pickup time, I received a Bill of Landing in my e-mail. There was no date or time or contact phone for the driver so I contacted the agent I'd been working with and he informed me that the driver would contact me for a pickup time. That never happened. Instead, the driver cancelled the order the following day. SIX days later, I contacted my freightqwuote agent but he didn't respond. I found the number for the driver and after 30 minutes they informed me that my order had been cancelled one day after the BOL was received. No reason was given. I again contacted my freightqwuote agent (by calling the general number and threatening to cancel the service). He told me he knew the order was cancelled but he assumed I knew. He never thought to contact me for other arrangements. He then informed me that he would work to see if there was a solution and he'd call me in an hour. TWO hours later I called and left a message to see if he'd made other arrangements. Of course, I got voicemail. SIX hours later I'm still waiting for a reply. I have a written complaint filed with eBay so hopefully they do not use freightquote.com services. In the end, the buyer and I went with Fed Ex Freight. For about 10% of the cost more we arranged shipment ourselves with a reliable company. I urge you to search elsewhere for your freight shipping services. The ratings don't lie. 1 out of 10 is too much. I wasted TWO weeks dealing with this company. If I can help one person not waste his or her time with this company this review is worth it."

"freightquote is a bait and switch company. I emailed them and asked them what it would cost me to have a 4 pallet shipment from Chicago to Ky delivered. I didn't know what my merchandise classification was so i let them determine that. They did so and gave me a fair price so I had them do the shipping through AAA Cooper. After the items were delivered they email me and tell me I owe them almost twice what they had quoted because AAA Cooper said it wasn't classified properly. Well freightquote is the one who classified it so I believe they should have to pay the difference. They basically suckered me in with a low rate and then raised it after delivery. My credit card company wouldn't reverse the charge because the delivery receipt I had signed says that I would be responsible for any up charges that may occur. Thanks to PAYPAL for that wrong doing as well. By the way this is the second time I used freightquote and both times they pulled this stunt. Shipper BEWARE!"

"This is a positive review for Freightquote.com located at 901 West Carondelet Drive, Kansas City, MO 64114. We have an Ebay store and occasionally need to ship a large item by freight. Freightquote arranged a pickup of our 700 pound crate on a Friday. The shipment was not picked up and we were very distressed. The truck company sent an email to Freightquote at 6:40pm Friday of “Our agent just notified us they do not have a liftgate for pickup available in this area, we will not be able to pick this shipment up.” This of course was after hours for Freightquote and so too late to solve the problem. However, first thing Monday morning Derek Wiles, Senior Freight Broker and his team at Freightquote, began working on a solution. He was on the phone with us at each stage of the arrangement to keep us informed of their progress. They worked on our shipment all day until a freight company was found that could visit our slightly out of the way location. Mr. Wiles also went the extra mile and called the freight company to verbally confirm the pickup. Then Mr. Wiles even went a greater step and called our buyer who would receive the shipment he had purchased to apologize for the delay and to ensure him that the shipment was being arranged. I have the highest recommendation for Freightquote with Mr. Wiles and his team.
