"They aren't responsive to my legitimate warranty claim. It's ridiculous that they had me drive almost 100 miles out into the boonies to get the determination of a leak in the sealed system which was/is within the covered 5 year warranty period. Ms Tricia Norwood has mysterious veto powers as the person you'll likely have contact with.

Friedrich ignores the fact that you (the customer) acted in good faith by purchasing their products and Friedrich deflects, devalues, and attempts to disarm you and your valid warranty claim. Friedrich holds said claim in abayence apparently waiting you out until you feel helpless attempting to resolve the situation rightfully. They force you to take the avenue of the courts.Buyer beware!
Don't have a false sense of security regarding their warranty, friedrich may leave you holding the bag!!"

"Friedrich's cardboard containers are not made for shipping by UPS or USPS. We received two window air conditioners on two different occasions via UPS which arrived damaged beyond use. Abt credited our account after UPS agreed that the units were beyond salvage. Unfortunately Friedrich does not use heavy duty cardboard for shipping, thus the units need "perfect" handling to arrive undamaged."
