"Internet grifters who do not deliver what they promise!
It started simply. Travelling coinciding with my wedding anniversary and wanting to delight my wife.
So I went on line for flowers and picked these folks with a wonderful guarantee "delivered today".
This seemed great, I actually need the flowers delivered tomorrow so I ordered figuring plenty of time.
On the day in question, heading to the airport for home, I checked in again with my wife.. I thought it was strange she hadn't texted me. No nothing had arrived. Hmm.
The site says residential orders delivered by 6pm. It's 5:45pm so track order... I get this..
"Thank you for your recent order. Unfortunately, we were unable to locate a florist able to complete the delivery today. With your permission, we would be happy to send the delivery August 29th with a note of apology explaining the delay, or we would be happy to call the recipient to personally apologize. In addition, we will also include a complimentary upgrade, which will increase the size of your arrangement and give it a fuller look. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused.
Thank you!"
A couple of issues here. I assume they knew about the inability to deliver before I inquired hours prior. But only because I asked did I get this. Basically the promise of "today" is really false advertising.. At best it is best effort with no real indication of time frame.
This site is a scam. Advertising a service they cannot deliver and accepting payments from whoever will press checkout. If you notice and complain expect a $20 gift certificate offer.
As many other reviews have noted BEWARE. Or perhaps better.. Just go elsewhere. Unless you want your thoughtful gift of flowers to miss the mark."
"I had placed an ordered on August 2nd, to be delivered on Aug. 3rd. The bouquet was obviously not the same one I had ordered on line. I ordered the premium one (Bright Blue Skies) that was pricey to begin with. It looked so tacky and small. It definitely was not a premium one. It had no blue delphinium flowers. The white lilies and roses was small. And to top it off, I had called customer service on Monday morning to confirm, and supposedly they had all the information correct, but when it got delivered, the name was completely wrong. I am mostly disappointed. Especially after I paid so much. Crappy work! Not worth it!"
"The customer service folks on the phone were helpful and polite; I should know, I talked to them about a dozen times today. I ordered a balloon bouquet for a friend having a birthday, and paid extra to have them delivered by 1:00 PM. At 1:00 PM, still no balloons. I called customer service, and they couldn't get hold of the florist. An hour later, they still couldn't determine the status of my order. An hour after that, they told me they would get hold of the florist then call me. 30 min. later, at 3:30, I called them and said that I wanted a full refund on the order if they couldn't deliver the flowers by 4:00 PM, which is when my friend was leaving his office. Waiting to see if I'll get the refund, but apparently this "MIDDLEMAN" doesn't contract with the best florists. This was a joke. Do not waste your time on this service if you want to do something special for someone you love. Let's hope I get my money back... For those considering using this service, I see that there have been some lucky folks out there who didn't have to go through such a fracas only to end up with no delivery, but play it safe on your loved one's special day, and order directly through a local florist."
"What a joke! I called to order flowers for my daughters birthday. When I placed my order they gave me all the charges and guarantee s that she would receive the flowers in 3 hours. (They even charged me for the early delivery). Here's the fun part. They never delivered the flowers because they ran out and then guaranteed me they would be there first thing in the morning. Also they would take all the extra charges off and send me a conformation email. I never received the emai and when I called back they said it had to be approved by the email team. (Still waiting) my daughter finally received her late birthday flowers at 230 the next day. Along with no extra flowers and no apology note. Such a disappointment. They were rated #1 florist. I would like to know how? "
"I ordered $67 bouquet from this site. Here is my experience:
1. They did not provide order confirmation
2. They did not deliver the $5 balloon they charged for
3. The bouquet size was very small
4. When I contacted the customer service they made no attempt to contact the delivery person to check if the balloon was delivered
5. They looked at the picture that I sent them and told me that they are able to see the ribbon to which balloon must be tied
6. When I sent them another picture they told we are sorry and will give $5 back.
7. When I told I want it to be delivered, they simply refused.
I am very dissatisfied with the service and quality of products that were delivered. I do not recommend this to anyone."
"Overpriced Mother's day arrangement, and didn't receive as many flowers upgrade to, and as indicated on the website. Sloppily arranged and delivered late at night. contacted customer service with photos of arrangement and all they did was try to give me $15 credit towards future purchase and say the photos appeared to be satisfactory TO THEM. My mom was disappointed in her flowers...and there is no way I will give them another chance to take my money."
"STAY AWAY!!! Messed up 2 different orders. Send the wrong color flowers. Then they wanted to say that they can substitute flowers and it's the flower people's choice!!! Tried to give me a $20.00 credit so I can purchase more awful flowers! Then offered to give me $4.18 back as a reimbursement! Awful, awful, Awful.....STAY AWAY! YOU WOULD DO BETTER TO THROW YOUR MONEY DOWN THE DRAIN!

After a few negative reviews on different sites, they reimbursed me the entire amount of my flowers and gave me a $20.00 gift card!"

ALL were delivered on time...and ALL were beautiful.

"I ordered two dozen roses for my wife for Valentine's Day at an approximate cost of $75. A quick summary - The flowers arrived at the proper location and at the requested date and time, however, their condition was quite pathetic. Upon receipt, 8 of 24 were in a very poor state. Today is day 2 (they arrived yesterday) and all are beyond bloom, brown and wilted. Please note that they were properly cared for immediately upon arrival. Adding insult to injury... I was double billed for the same order. Avas customer service was, at best, completely inept and useless. After multiple calls and email dialogues with AVAS, I was only able to resolve through my personal bank. In summary, their quality of product was disturbingly poor and frankly, a COMPLETE embarrassment to me. I will not do business with this organization again. "

"Flower never delivered. Paid for same day delivery to very sick friend in hospital on Wednesday before the cutoff. I received a "delivery confirmation" email saying they had been delivered, but friend never received them. Called F You Flowers on Wednesday evening and Thursday afternoon, since my friend still hadn't received them. F You Flowers gave me the runaround, then finally told they would be delivered Friday. I asked for a full refund and told them to cancel order. To her credit, the gal on the phone from F You Flowerswas quite nice. It wasn't her fault -- She's just a customer service rep. Regardless, my sick friend never got the flowers and no one even told me. The surprise was ruined either way."

"THE WORST!!!! Wish I had read the reviews before ordering..my situation is an exact repeat performance of someone else's! Placed my order at 1:00 well within the same day delivery range. Company conveniently waited until after 3:00 to let us know there was a problem with apparently the one and only florist they are contracted with in the tiny city of CLEVELAND, OHIO!! REALLY????!!!! It was an anniversary death date so it was critical that the thought be delivered that day...so their generous offer to complete the transaction on the next day was a moot point!!! Don't bother! Now the family will never know we were thinking of them! Needless to say we turned down their next generous offer of a gift certificate for a future disappointment!!! This was by far not my first time around the block...I have placed many orders for plants and flowers in the past with never ever a problem but not with this company. Just my luck to pick the loser company for such an important gesture!! Do yourself a favor...GO ELSEWHERE!!!

"The worst!! Ordered flowers for a friend that had a baby at 1:30pm. Website says same day delivery if ordered by 3pm, recipients time zone. At 4pm I received a call saying the flowers weren't going to make it that day. By this time, it was too late to get same day delivery from another florist. They offered a $10 gift card for future purchase and a note of apology. Are they joking?? I would never use them again! I got a refund of most of my money and an assurance they would be delivered the next day before 11am, when my friend was being discharged. Guess what... Just spoke with my friend, who left the hospital at noon today...NO FLOWERS!!! This is the worst company ever!! I don't know how they stay in business. If you see good ratings on their website, it is because they get you to do a survey immediately following the placing of the order... Too early to know the problems that are coming!!"
