Awesome service

"I bought a Refurbished Mini-ITX AC88xi board. I even spoke to Ben on the phone to expedite things and Ben was super patient and did a great job in communicating the refurb process with MSI. Ben always kept in touch and I received my motherboard sooner than expected and it is working great. I would do business with them again!"

"I recently purchased a MSI GT70 0ND-492US model laptop from Frostycomputers.

I first contacted Ben electronically and, thereafter, by phone. He always answered his telephone number and provided me with any information that I requested by the end of that business day.

Ben was very accommodating and worked with me so that I was finally able to get the laptop that I've been wanting for some time.

The laptop shipped UPS and arrived a few days later. The packaging was standard industry shipping and the product arrived securely.

I found everything as it should be. This was a factory refurbished computer. It showed no visible markings on the exterior. I installed the battery, plugged in the charger, and the laptop booted as expected. There were no dead pixels nor any damage to the display.

Based on my transaction, I would highly recommend Frostycomputers and Ben. He stocks good product, and was kind, understanding, helpful, and trustworthy.

"BEWARE: Frostycomputers (IS) a scam. Purchased a Video Card from them on eBay. Took (1)-one week for them to issue a Postal Service tracking number. US Postal Service however confirms they NEVER received item purchased for shipment processing. They answered some eMails stating item was on "its way". Far from the truth, had to file a Claim with eBay. Do NOT do business with frostycomputer out of California."

"Great E-Store ! I bought a refurb GPU that had everything in the box, the original box, even a Xfire bridge. A very nice suprise for a refurb. The card works perfect and looks brand new. I expected and was told shipping would take at least a week - it was here in 3 days. Awesome guys, keep that up ! Ordered 11/17 received 11/20."

"I can't say enough about Frosty's customer service as well as quality product. I am a huge fan of MSI and it's difficult to find the brand below $1000. Ben provided me with a gorgeous MSI FX420, enabling me to own this beauty without paying a fortune for it. He is extremely responsive and attentive, going well out of his way to make sure I was satisfied, and I am. "I cant say enough good things about this company. I ordered a new laptop that i thought I wanted ,but before it even arrived, I changed my mind. I contacted Ben at Frosty via email and explained that I would like another laptop instead, he quickly replied "No Problem". When the first one arrived I quickly returned it (unopened) and Ben quickly sent my new MSI GX720 lappy. Great deal,great communication...what else could you ask for? "

"I pre-order GT729MSI and send money to them by wire-transfer. I want buy laptop, because he was mentioned as a reseller on official MSI site. I paid to them. He take money and don't delivery laptop. After 1-2 months I cancel order, but they don't receive me my money up to now(I order about 1 year ago). I loose only money and time to write or contact with them. When I go online, he go offline... Don't buy from them anything. Frostycomputers should have raiting 0."

"I ordered a PINK MSI notebook. I received a "rose" MSI notebook. The "rose" one is like a lavender color inside and out. The one online is hot pink with white inside. The one they sent me looks nothing like the pink one pictured online. I've been trying to reach them and they haven't replied. I've written e-mails and called. Still nothing. I'm hoping they will respond and send me the right one or give me a FULL refund. I'm not paying them 15% (restocking fee) to send me the wrong item! If not, I'll just file the paper work with mastercard and prove it was not as advertised. Thankfully I have a military bank and they help me with things like this. I will not be buying from them again. I'm very disappointed. I am writing this review because based on the other reviews I used this company. I don't want anyone else to buy from them, get the wrong thing, then be ignored... It's just bad business! I'll post a conclusion when the issue is resolved. Hopefully it'll be a prompt resolution.

Conclusion: They called after I posted my review. I'm getting a full refund but I'm out the money to ship it back. At this point. I'll cut my loses and call it a day. I will be ordering a new computer from another site!

"I'm writing this review a victim of a dishonest business practice.
Almost three months ago (first week of August), I pre-ordered one unit of GT729BD to one of MSI reseller (Frostycomputers, Diamond Bar, CA US), and I made my payment with international wire-transfer to its owner's (Ben Hsu) bank account as instructed (Wells Fargo). As it turned out several weeks after my payment posted in his account, I received words that GT729 SKU launch was delayed and eventually canceled, but he claimed that MSI top managements promised him to arrange GT729 special production to be carried out. Therefore, I held my intention to request for full refund to him.
Finally, I got impatient with the delay and stalling, I sent him emails & offline messages requesting for returning my money with futile
results. He ignored at my pleas, instead, he offered me products which I never wanted. And again, he still insisted that GT729 should arrive in last week of September (kept on being delayed, last time he said last week of November) and bragged his special connection with MSI. For almost one month, he never answered to my emails nor offline messages through GTalk. Few days ago, I spotted him went online in GTalk, but then he went offline immediately. That gives me an idea that I've been a victim of fraud conducted by Frostycomputers. An email from MSI USA confirmed that Frostycomputers never placed any backorder for GT729.
Yesterday, I sent him another email requesting refund. He did respond, but his reply was shocking, which he stated "sorry man there is no refunds". Today, again I saw him online in GTalk, and I asked him the reason of why there is no refunds for me. He just went offline again without bothering to reply.
Now I'm stranded because of this ordeal, with no hope of retrieving my money. Definitely this man has no heart.

"Excellent price on the MSi GT725-212 laptop, 2d-day air arrived two days after ordering. Company called to confirm different billing and shipping addresses, immediate order confirmation by email.

I will definitely check Frosty again, for a price on any other computer purchases. Not super-organized, but they get the job done, and quickly.

"I ordered an MSI GT725-075us from Frosty Computers. Within a day of ordering, a staffer personally sent me an email with the UPS tracking number. I received my anxiously-awaited GT725 before the week was up.

Zero problems with payment, easy order process, good communication. I would absolutely buy from Frosty Computers again and would like to thank Ben for not only a pleasant shopping experience, but a big jump on Amazon's wait times. 10/10.
