"Was very unsatisfiedwith the design of the floor lamp. there is only one tiny set screww which does not hold the pole in place. Extremely disappointing since we had this same problem years ago and it has not been fixed on the newer models. Not what I expect for $200.00.
Any ideas on how to strengthen it.

"Well, the ordering process went smoothly -- I have no complaints there. Shipping was also just fine. Unfortunately, the products themselves have been a let-down, and how that is resolved still remains to be seen. Our previous SAD therapy dimmable floor lamp from you guys partially broke after two years (the knob to actually turn it on and off, came out, and can't easily be put/glued back in). It should be under lifetime warranty, but I was still awaiting feedback from your company on how best to deal with that. Because our son's SAD interacts with his ASD & SPD, we barely get any real sunlight at this time of year, and fake sunlight is utterly imperative, a friend gave us the money to purchase a new lamp, so we would have one more quickly. Ideally, the original one would end up fixed/replaced, and we would have a back-up. Unfortunately, the new one we received is defective! The plastic piece inside the metal tubing, which braces and lines up the bottom piece of the body of the lamp, with the base, so they can be screwed together, was pushed too far up into the tube before being glued in place -- or so it seems. So, now we have TWO floor lamps from your company, both with lifetime warranties, neither of which we can use. These are high-priced items that are heavy to ship, and I would hope that, beyond the warranties being honored, shipping to make good on those warranties, is covered. I should not have to pay to mail a large, heavy object back and forth, extra times, because the ones sent to me were not up to your own company standards. Will this be resolved, and when? I'm waiting to find out."
