"I have purchased a number of Sauder items in the past and have been very pleased with them. The only problem I have had was one piece did not have the back in the box and Sauder's customer service department had it shipped to me with no questions asked. However I recently purchased a library to complete my daughter's room which has a computer armoir, night table and dresser all Sauder pieces. I ordered and the piece was shipped and I received it in the promised time period. Today I unpacked the pieces and began the assembly. I found several pieces had been damaged. The slide on end molding for one side had been broken. One shelf and the top piece looked like they had be etched with a nail or other object and in fact the shelf looked like someone had etched initials into it. I repaired the slide on piece with some super glue. I was able to assemble so that the mars are hard to see and the external damage to the slide on piece is away from view from most of the room. I do not know if the piece shipped directly from your Sauder or was in inventory from Furnitureonline.com but I was very disappointed. There is no way the damage that had occured could have happened in shipping. Under normal circumstances I would ahve returned the item but I had already destroyed the packing material as I had never had this kind of problem with Sauder products. "
"Absolutely the best customer service I've experienced. I ended up calling their 800 number on 4 different occasions during which course I spoke to 3 different people, each of whom was extremely courteous. They were very knowledgable about the products I was inquiring about. After ordering the product on line, I changed my mind for a different model and they were able to change my order since it had not been shipped out yet. They communicated all of the shipping and invoice information promptly by e-mail. Unfortunately the cart arrived with a damaged piece which was not the fault of Furniture Online.com, this was a pre-packaged Sauder product that showed obvious damage to the box during the shipping. When I called to notify them, they apologized and immediately contacted Sauder and ordered the replacement parts which were shipped the following morning.
In my dealings with furnitureonline.com, I was always able to get through to someone on the phone easily and it's clear that they make customer service their top priority.
