"We recently purchased a beautiful buffet which arrived without the legs or frame which is should have been standing on.
Despite contacting your representatives a few times, we were given no feedback about where the legs could possibly be. Lisa Sechrest said that Walter Wilson would "get back to us when he returned from his vacation"!
As it turned out, they were found by our freight forwarder and sent to us. It would have been more professional if your Organisation had got back to us to confirm that they were sent in a separate carton and should have been delivered. We hope that next time your representatives follow up better on our enquiries after they have taken our money!"

"I was very satisfied with the assistance I got from my design consultant. However, the delivery process was awful. Both times they gave me a date and time of their choosing with zero flexibility. I arranged my work schedule around them and inconvenienced family for the window, and both times they changed it last minute. If I was unwilling to accommodate their changes I was told I'd have to wait until the truck was back up in NY -- possibly over a month later. I know of no other furniture store that is so difficult with delivery."

"My Design Consultant was very responsive to pricing inquiries. However, I did not receive design consultation, even when asked for recommendations that fit my style and budget. The site clearly states they offer free design services. But the onus was on me to find pieces. With the thousands of choices, the process can be overwhelming. Having a Design Consultant that proactively recommended concepts and pieces would have been extremely helpful. I shopped out-of-state. So maybe Design Services are limited to in-store shoppers. I understand there are unique challenges that come with a remote customer. Now that I've ordered, I need to check in for delivery estimate. This is not proactively communicated, even when the date changes. But even with these missed expectations, I am happy with the ongoing engagement and patience as I took months to find, consider and select pieces. I would shop Furnitureland South again to save money. "
"We got an American Leather sectional from FS. We had seen other pieces by them at other stores but not the sectional or the sofa of the similar style. American Leather claims that you will get your furniture delivered to your home in around 30 days; it was more like 60 days for us but it was worth it. We love it. We also got bar stools from a different manufacturer and they are perfect for our home. We are very pleased.
I should also mention that the delivery people were fabulous!! They were cared about the placement and took great pains not to damage our brand new floors."
