"I've been a longtime advocate for Furnitureland South. I bought several rooms worth of furniture 20 years ago and loved their selection, service, and the value - which was part of the reason for returning when looking for high quality patio furniture at a decent cost. My customer representative, Ashley, was great - quick follow up to emails, providing details, etc. The more disappointing portion of my purchase was that I had selected a few patio couches off their website and learned that none of them were available as the "manufacturer" of the items I had selected hadn't updated Furnitureland South's website (I don't understand how a manufacturer is responsible for updating the site, but now nearly 2 months AFTER my order there is still no update to the site with current product). Instead, I was directed to look at the new lines available on the MANUFACTURER'S site and then call/email back and they would obtain pricing. I did this, and the prices seemed in line with the similar designs I had selected previously (it appears only the cushion style changed slightly), until I was informed that these would be drop shipped as they weren't in stock and that the charge for shipping was ~$500 and would take 10-12 weeks to deliver. It still isn't clear how drop shipping could cost more and take longer versus the cost associated with Furnitureland South receiving a bulk shipment and then reshipping to me (which would also further extend the delivery time). I did place an order as I wasn't eager to prolong the buying process searching again - subsequently having to pay for the full amount of the order since these items were being drop shipped. In the end, my feeling was and remains that the value of Furnitureland South is no longer at the level I perceived previously. Difficult shopping experience, more expensive, and long lead time (I still haven't received my shipment due to the long lead time). I am thinking it may be better off to buy locally next time. Truthfully, I hope they see this comment and try to make amends for the rather challenging buying experience - that may be the only thing that has me return."
"We never made it to the regular showroom because we found everything we needed at the outlet store. You have to be willing to cover a lot of territory and possibly find different pieces on different floors, but it's worth it. The only disappointment was that a gray leather chair and ottoman we purchased looked blue in the showroom. We were surprised at the color when it was delivered. By the way, the delivery crew was wonderful and patient. Bottom line, we 're learning to love gray, so be careful about seeing colors correctly in the showroom lighting. "

Joanna was very patient as I wandered the clearance center several times, leaving to check other sites and then returning to purchase my first choice and an additional chair. My one complaint would be with delivery, date set up was delayed due to email going into spam. A telephone call would have been much more personal and I may not have had to wait 2 weeks to receive my furniture. Otherwise, I was pleased with the experience."

"The overall service was good. But I am very dissatisfied with the fact that a few of the items I ordered are now back ordered. The day I placed my order nothing was on Backorder and delivery was estimated at 4-6 weeks. Now all of the sudden the manufacturer is saying 17 weeks. That's not acceptable in my opinion. I understand this is not Furniture Land's fault but I feel it was a little deceptive or either their system isn't updated in real time. "
