"If you get your items correct at the first time you are lucky! If is needs any repair or replacement you are screwed for months. The guardsman protection or third party service is even worse and they will never schedule a time you are available. They will give you time a few weeks ahead and would never understand the sense of urgency. And secondly they do only half jobs or even less and then try to reschedule for ever.
For replacements, they don't understand the parts needed or get wrong parts without fully understanding the requirements.
Customer service reps try to help but the issue is with the process of getting things repaired / replaced. It depends on the manufacturer or the contractors and that took us months and still no answer. In short, if you buy and you got good stuff you are lucky. if not start to deal with delays! (months, and months - make it full time job as you should followup with everyone and no one calls you to followup).
If you order somewhat decent furniture, most of them don't even know how to fix it. They start messing your furniture to figure out what goes where as they didn't appear confident of their work"
"They damaged my dresser and delivered it like that. Apparently at some point in time a forklift was used to lift my dresser as opposed to placing my dresser on a pallet and lifting my dresser. The wood along the bottom was damaged and one of the drawers would not close. It was delivered this way on July 25. The delivery guys did not do the damage… this happened in the warehouse. I had to wait a week for a technician to come out only to tell me it needed to go back to be repaired. The process has been slow and drawn out. Tomorrow will be a month and I'm not getting my dresser until Monday (8/29). Our experience with the salesman was great… It's just once it was damage the idiots decided to deliver it in that condition and I've had to play a waiting game. My clothes have been inside ABC store boxes for the past month. I have no future plans of purchasing from Furnitureland South "

"Had a great experience in June with Becky Shaw, one of the interior designers. We have an unusual room to fill with living room furniture and she was able to take us around and see the collections that would work for us. Then we picked out fabrics that would complement our existing rug and wall covers and give us an interesting new look. We did it all in about 5 hours - sounds like a lot, but we thought it would take 2 days to accomplish this. Pete S."
