"Placed an order on the 12th called on the 18th and they said since i did not fill in both phone numbers the order stalled. The fields were day and evening. They did not even have the decency to email me and when i called they acted as though I was bothering them. I also emailed a complaint and they responded in less than 5 min, yet they didn't seem to care about my order and there response was to have a nice evening. DON'T BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, I'D HOPE THEY GO UNDER SOON."
"Severely disappointed. Purchased an in-stock DVD drive and separate software 1/8/04.
No shipment (or correspondence until 1/26). My order was cancelled without explanation via e-mail.
I will not *even consider* purchasing from FuturePower again.
Their shipping charge was going to be very high anyway ($12) for a bare DVD drive via ground freight. "
"Want any customer support at all?? Forget this manufacturer. They primarily sell monitors through other resellers that come with a terrific 5 year "BEST Monitor Support" program. You call tech support, they verify that a problem exists, they ship you a new monitor within 2-3 days, plus pre-paid shipping on the return monitor,(says so in fine print). I purchased 3 from them and they have been fine, until one developed problems blurring, holding resolution and the colors washing out. After doing all the suggested remedies in the manual,I confirmed the disability by plugging in an older monitor from the same company, it worked fine. I tried calling the "BEST" tech support found in the manual and found out that that number was no longer valid. Got on their website and called the number there, no human answered so I left a message with the 'Nextel' subscriber (what's up w/that?), then proceeded to email both their tech support address and RMA address as found on their website. Did this 4 more times within a week and received no response to any of them. Decided to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and guess what? They have an unsatisfactory rating with them for....drum roll please..not responding to the complaints sent to the BBB. Do yourself a favor and find another monitor manufacturer and pay a few $ more....you'll get better support and RMA policies from Newegg.com or a local reseller where you can physically take the dead item to.
The frustrating part of this is the fact that 1 year prior to this monitor going south, I did the same thing with another monitor they manufactured and warrantied under their "BEST" prgram, and holy cow! It worked as advertised....although it took 3 weeks rather than 3 days to get the replacement monitor. And you guessed it...the monitor that is going bad now.....was the replacement they sent me."
