"Hi,
Hi bought a key from a seller on G2A, and I couldn't redeem it on Steam for it was already used.
I opened a case on G2A support page, and asked the seller to provide a valid key or to proceed to a refund.
First the seller asked for the error message screeshot, which of course I did. A couple days later, he asked for a screenshot of "the key entered"... At first I asked myself "why in hell? He knows which key he sold me, doesn't he?" So I asked customer support what was going on, and they advised me to comply and add screeshots of my gamelist! So long for privacy then? Finally I sent him both screenshots plus a screenshot of my gamelist, so he could see the game didn't appear in it, asking for a refund.
I hoped this would do it, but no! Then he asked me to contact Steam Support to prove the key was already used!!! I definitely thought this seller was shady, and dishonest. If the key was actually stolen, I would be a acomplice to a felony.
So I refused, and asked again for a refund, which he denied, closing the case for "lack of reply".
I tried to contact the support again: all they kept telling is I should do what the seller asks. The kept saying their "system is blocked" and that I have to deal with the seller. Imagine Amazon doing that? Never. I've already ordered something to a third party seller which never was shipped, and Amazon fully refunded me. They took their responsibilities as a sales website.
So after a week of nonsense and deceit, I aknowledged the fact that I had been ripped off, and closed my account on G2A. I'm determined to share my experience to anyone, to prevent anybody from being f****d as I've been.
Shame on G2A!
P."
