"Last I checked, conusmer PCs (a la Alienware, VoodooPC) were ridiculously over-priced. I'm in the same boat you are... I don't want to get ripped off, but I also don't have the patience to build one myself. CyberPower makes cheap computers but they're ugly and poor quality. I got a Medusa from GBuys Computers. They don't make them anymore but if their new computers are as good as the one I have now, they're worth a look"
