"Beware this place as I can see how they are getting to be known as scam artists. I ordered online and before I placed an order I asked my questions and got a pretty quick reply that same night so I paid. I got my confirmation and fedex info the next day.Well they neglect to tell you on thier site or in thier emails that they ship fed ex signature required in person.I have a job so Im not home from 7 am til 8 pm monday thru saturday and the location of fedex is about an hour drive each way. I got home found the door tag and called and they told me i had to sign in person or have the shipper call and remove that part. I had a customer who i bought the xbox 360 mods for and now they are mad at me as I can not get any response to my critial tickets I sent. No one replies or is ever on thier live chat not in 2 weeks has it been on. No number no responses after they got my money. i will end up filing a credit card claim as I cant get the item they wont reply and Im out cash...avoid this place until they reveal thier identy so problems can be relayed.Bad bad store and owner"
"The best shop, I shipped to Australia and received the order in just over a week, no surprises and I got the 'GP2x Wiz' for 150 USD, that's what I got, the free shipping is a great thing too."
"I ordered a small leather case and a plastic screen protector for a handheld game system from GP2XStore.com. The total including shipping was just over $30. The company website appeared to have been a professional business so I trusted it enough to make my purchase using PayPal. A few days later I received a USPS Small Flat Rate Box with their pre-printed USPS shipping label on it and no signs of any kind of tampering. It was neatly taped shut and had no tears or cuts of any kind. Upon opening the box I discovered that my order was not inside. My invoice with my correct order printed on it was in the box but instead of a leather case and screen protector there was a brand new package of some kind of hair care product made by Garnier. I politely contacted GP2XStore at the only supplied contact information which is a support email address. There are no phone numbers or other ways to contact them. I stated my case clearly and included photos of what I had received. I got an email response back the next day from someone claiming their name was "Tech" and stating that they were the only person who handles shipping for GP2XStore. "Tech" wrote that they do not carry hair products and that the package must have been tampered with. "Tech" also wrote that they do not tape their packages shut. I found this to be completely idiotic seeing that anyone shipping anything would surely seal their packages. How else do you expect your items to arrive at the intended recipient address intact?! Anyone who has seen one of these USPS Small Flat Rate Boxes (you can go to your post office and get one for free if you would like to examine one) can see that it closes with a simple fold but without tape there is nothing keeping it secure in any manner. I responded to "Tech" that I would like to have my product sent to me or get a refund seeing that what I received was no where near what I ordered and if they shipped it so foolhardily without sealing the box properly then they are still responsible for me to receive my order or my money back. Instead I got back another reply from "Tech" (still no real name or contact phone number) stating that he/she would check with the post office. I don't care about the post office. That's between "Tech" and the postal service. I just wanted my order or my money. One or the other. I had reached the end of my rope and I wrote back a sincere demand for just that. I got back a message requesting that I send them back the hair products (at my further expense) and then they would issue me a refund. So, they wanted me to send back the only piece of evidence I have that I had been defrauded through the United States postal system AND pay for the return shipping and trust that the same company that had already defrauded me of $30+ could now be trusted to refund my money after I had nothing to prove otherwise. I wasn't buying it. Instead I filed a claim with PayPal (which I had used to pay for the order in the first place). "Tech" disputed the claim with PayPal saying I had received a package so PayPal closed my claim and did not issue me a refund. So now I'm stuck with paying over $30 for some $5 hair gel and GP2XStore is out there waiting to rip off their next victim. BE AWARE! IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH AN ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY YOU WILL HAVE NO WAY TO REACH A REAL PERSON OR GET ANY RESOLUTION. ALL YOU WILL GET IS A RUN AROUND, FAKE NAMES, AND A NAMELESS EMAIL CONTACT! DO NOT BUY FROM GP2XStore.com."
"My order from this seller was pain-free and a good deal, i.e., three small hard-to-find items, cheaper than a lot of international merchants, with reasonable shipping rates.
They don't have a whole heck of a lot in terms of selection, but what they do have seems to be of good quality. And so far, the items from my last order have been very durable.
For all intents and purposes, I was only ever going to make small "non-essential" buys from this seller, but I might pick them over others if they can follow-through with the Pandora sale."
"My first order was a GP2X, case and cables. 5 days later, I had the order in hand. Quick, easy, and no suprises."
" Great store! Excellent prices, great customer support, and fast shipping. All with a user-friendly flair!
I've ordered three items from them in the past four months. All of which were at least five dollars less than competing stores. They all arrived without damage to their respective boxes."
"Horrid. I placed an order for three items, totaling just over $280 on April 27. I paid that night, and received an email confirming my order. Within two days my bank account was charged via Paypal. The website promises a turnaround time of 1-2 business days (or sooner, if you're in state), but my order remained in "processing" for two weeks.
I tried to get in touch with their support department to find out what was taking so long, but there isn't any phone support. Only email or live chat, but they're never online. I left two emails about my order that both went unanswered. On May 11th, about two weeks after placing my order, I got an email stating that my package had shipped.
Everything shipped in good condition, and I got what I ordered, but not before spending half a month thinking I had been conned out of nearly $300. The store's prices and selection are nice, but after this, I don't see myself shopping there again."
