"I used GP albums for 10 years and was pretty happy with them, but last year they decided not
to sell the matted albums anymore and gave me a 2 week notice. I had already sold this album to several brides and they didn't want another style, so I had to buy the covers and multiple matts so I would be covered. I ended up with hundreds of matts and pages that I don't need and no compensation for the short notice."
"I ordered CD folios from GP Albums in early September 2011. I received a call 2 days later saying the product I ordered is no longer available and apparently hasn't been available for more than a year. If it's not available why is it still an option on the site? Any way, I only had one choice left which was more expensive. I took that one. The lady said it'd be shipped in 2 weeks. 6 weeks later I still have not received my order. I went on their site (which by the way is NOT easy to navigate AT ALL) but there's no way for me to obtain a record on their site for my order history, I have to call them and talk to the rude, snippy, impatient and "all around just in a bad mood" receptionist. I give my acct number and she tells me my purchase history. I ask her what a typical ship time is for them and she says 2 weeks. I then tell her the issue and she puts me on hold for 15 minutes then comes back to tell me they lost my order and it'll be another 2 weeks. I put up a fight and finally they agreed to ship it out "tomorrow" we'll see if that actually happens. I will never go back to them for anything. I'm typically all about supporting local businesses but not this one. GP Albums is incredibly incompetent!
UPDATE: They sent me the WRONG product and argued that I ordered it incorrectly, plus they come in cardboard boxes and on the boxes they have their name and logo, so if I want to present these to my customers I have to find some tacky way to cover up their information on the box. This is RIDICULOUS!"
"As a Professional wedding photographer, I need to know I can rely on a good reputable company to make my albums right. After all this is the Bride and Groom wedding album, and they are spending anywhere from $3000 to $5000 for my services... I Just started using GP Albums and my second order was a Disaster. It took them two weeks to ship me the album. (The other company I use it takes 3 Days) When I finally got the album I started assembling it. Only to find out GP Albums (SPELLED THE GROOMS NAME WRONG)!!! Robbie Instead of Robby... When I made the order I spelled it letter for letter from the contract the bride and groom sign to the receptionist and they still messed it up!!! When I called to have them send me the corrected cover... They said they would have to charge me again because I didn't check the spelling on the receipt... Wow!!! Yes, I am sorry I thought GP albums was a competent company and could spell the grooms name as I had spelled it for them letter for letter... Good Luck to anyone who decides to use this company!!!
Regards Steve"
