"This place is a joke. They charge your card immediately and then will not ship when they promise (took 3 weeks) and only when it meets their needs, not the customers. I forgot I had problems with them before and stupidly placed this recent order. Had to cancel this order, involve AMEX, and order from another supplier.
I went back and ordered from HairCareChoices.com that processed the order and shipped within 24 hours without issue, additional involvement or pain on my end. As a note, HairCareChoices.com will continue to have my business due to the excellent performance and ethical culture I experienced.

"I placed an order for 8 cans of protein powder on March 23. My credit card was charged immediately. I received an e-mail that it was shipped on April 2. It is now April 15, and I still have not received the product. The person I spoke to in customer service told me that it was shipped by USPS Parcel Post. That is the slowest possible shipping method, but even so, it should not take so long to receive a product after you place the order.
I have ordered this product from other online sources and it never took more than 7 or 8 days from time of order to receipt of the product. Unfortunately, I was lured in by a low price at "Goddess Within." I would rather pay a little more and get my order within a reasonable time frame. Never again!
Update: I finally received my order on April 22nd -- just about one full month after I placed the order. Since I was running out of the protein powder, I ordered some from a different vendor. It arrived at my house by FedEx ground a week after I placed the order. The price was about the same as with the Goddess Within. The GW shipment was sent from Tucson to my home in California via Kentucky -- 1800 miles in the wrong direction! In all fairness, that's the fault of the USPS Parcel Post service, but I do fault GW for using such an inefficient delivery method.

"WORST ONLINE SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER.
i placed an order from their website and was immediately charged. honest retailers do not charge you until your order is complete and shipped. i waited two weeks, no goods received. i emailed their customer service, they took over a week to respond. at this point i just wanted to cancel my order, but they explained to me (in a rather unfriendly email) that one of the items was out of stock and would be shipped the following a week. i reluctantly agreed to wait. still no goods, yet i was charged. for the next six weeks, i waited, emailed them several times and eventually asked them to cancel my order. still, no response. now, almost THREE MONTHS LATER, i receive the shipment, containing a DIFFERENT BRAND from what i ordered. of course i emailed them again and of course, NO REPLY.
with all the beauty product websites to choose from online, you would be saving yourself a huge headache to shop somewhere else."
"GW Beauty is a HORRIBLE company. They represented a product I ordered as in stock on July 8, 2008. Fast forward a week later, and the product still has not shipped. I attempted to use their order status form to find out the status of the order - of course there was no response. I called their 800 number, which is where the real fun begins. The first call I waited a reasonable 12 minutes, only to be hung up on (I could hear someone pick up the phone, press buttons on the keypad, then hang up).
The second call, placed immediately after the first, was much more infuriating. After waiting 20 minutes to reach the #1 spot in the queue (as announced by their phone system), I heard a brief silence, followed by the music playing again. Low and behold, shortly thereafter I was suddenly #5 in the queue! They had just picked up the phone then transferred me back to the end of the queue. I waited to get to the #1 spot again, only to experience the same result.
The third call I decided to try the "Place an order" queue, figuring they'd be more apt to take someone's money. After waiting on hold for 24 minutes, I was hung up on again.
I have written another email to GWBeauty demanding that my order be canceled and that any charge will be disputed with my credit card company. BUYER BEWARE!"
"Wow, I can't believe GW has gotten so many bad reviews. I didn't find this website until after I've ordered from them a few weeks ago. They only ship with FedEx for international orders which, to my complete surprise, only cost me a mere $17 for a very heavy order. Anyway, after I placed an order, I received a confirmation email. Two days later, I received an email informing me that one of the items was on backorder. The next day my order was shipped and two days later I received it, hand-delivered by FedEx. I couldn't be happier with this site. So sorry for the others, though. Perhaps they have improved."
"Man, why do I not always come here and check before using a new reseller? If you were smart enough to look first, then save yourself the trouble; these people are sheer torture. How hard can it be? It's shampoo for heaven's sake. You put it in a box and ship it. Well, apparently even that is too difficult for these people. I went over a week from ordering and never heard a word. So I went online and checked the status of my order and it said 'pending'. So I went to their online help form and asked what the problem was. The form said I would hear back within one business day. Several days later, they finally replied. Two items (out of five) were backordered, they said and it should ship in about five days. I wrote back and said if they could ship on that date, please do. If they still hadn't come in on that date, please cancel those two items only and ship the rest. Well, that date came and I get an email from them. But I didn't really because they just sent me a copy of my email back. So I replied and asked what was happening since they just sent me a copy of my own email. Days later they send me an email that says they will ship in 24 hours. We'll see. But listen, even if they do, they will have taken weeks to fill a simple shampoo order. Folks, it's just not worth the trouble with these guys. If this is the end of the message, then that'll mean they actually did ship it. If not, then I'll be back with an update."

I placed a simlpe order on June 6, 2007.
I received no word from them until I saw that on July 2, 2007 they paid themselves for said order.
It was not until July 13, 2007 that they finally decided to ship the product for eventual delivery on July 18, 2007 - SIX WEEKS AFTER THE ORDER WAS PLACED.
Note to Goddes Within: Are you people so far out of touch with your customers that you think this experience is satisfactory on any level?
Please DO NOT represent that you have a product in stock when in fact you don't. It's blatant false advertising.
Stay away from these guys, Folks. Its just not worth the headaches."

"Buyer beware of this site. I ordered lotion Jan 7. Paypal account was debited the 9th. A week passed so I followed my email link to inquire about my order which was still pending. I called the 800 number provided; was on hold for 45 minutes and finally chose to leave a voice mail requesting them to call me back. That never happened. I finally sent another email whick was finally responded to which im part read " we receive this lotion fresh every Tuesday" it will ship on the 17th. I waited until the 17th and checked the order status again; still pending. I emailed again and they said they didn't get any in so it would be the 24th; did I want to cancel the order. I did not respond to this email as I had already waited almost two weeks for this order I could wait another week. Today, the 24th, I find they have cancelled the order. Have I received a refund?? NO!! Update: I received a refund 1-26-06"
