"I have ordered from Gaffos several times. Generally i have had a good experience. The prescription sunglass lenses are decent considering they cost $18. This is the third time ordering the exact same pair of prescription sunglasses (I keep loosing them) and they have always sent the original Ray Ban lenses along with the prescription lenses. These weren't included this time. I need those lenses as I switch between prescription and non prescription occasionally. I hope that Gaffos will come through and send me a replacement pair, but we'll see."

"DO NOT USE THEM.. I bought 150$ pair of Burberrys from this site. They looked good at first, but after only 8 months of normal use one of the temples (or arms) iterally just fell off. The metal hinge had just fallen apart. There was no mechanical stress or damage to the glasses other than normal wear and tear. I emailed Gaffos to see If i could get a new pair or have them repaired, and they said there is nothing that they could do but resell me a different pair. Even cheap reading glasses at CVS or Walgreens can go a couple years of wear and tear with no problems. SHOP ELSEWHERE!!"

"The WORST online shopping experience EVER.
I ordered a pair of sunglasses with prescription from Gaffos.com on February, 19th, 2015 and paid $255 in total. One day after, I received a notification email that my package was delivered already. Since it was too fast to deliver a pair of sunglasses with prescription, I contacted Gaffos customer service. The lady replied me that the delivery message was wrong and sunglasses did not send out yet. Until Feb, 25th, I still have not received any shipping information. I reached out to the customer service again at noon and got noticed that what I ordered were backordered. I don’t want to wait long, so I requested to cancel the order and got approved. A few hours after, I received a phone call from their team and suddenly told me the package got delivered on 20th, signed by the doorman, and what they sent were sunglasses without prescription. I rushed to my apartment front desk, found nothing, but could not even argue because they have a written policy that they won’t keep a package that has been delivered for over 3 days. So I tried to solve the problem with Gaffos. I have heard of some friends losing packages and all solutions they experienced were the seller re-send the item or give a full refund. But after emailing, calling, chatting back and forth for two days, Gaffos only refunded me $136. So I made no mistakes in the process, but paid $124 for a missing pair of sunglasses that I did not even order at all. Since I ordered sunglasses with prescription, but they sent me sunglasses without prescription.
So I won’t come back to this store anymore and won’t recommend it to any friends since I consider it an untrustworthy store.

When you purchase a prescription sunglasses, our email does state that a prescription will take up to 5 days to make in the lab before they are shipped. We are available 24/7 to work with any customer on any issues that might come up. With regard to prescription lens, there is always a 3-4 minimum delay in shipping since we create and install the lens in our lab. That being said your glasses were delivered to you within 6 days of the order with a prescription, which is nearly unheard of in our industry.
