"Our IT department purchased a toughbook from this company and first time we tried to use the machine. We noticed it was DOA, luckily we bought an extended warranty we thought. I called, they would be happy to fix the problem. After a week of not hearing anything I called to get a status update. Their policy is to refund the money as a credit so we could buy a new machine. OK, that is not what you said but ok. We then purchased another machine paying for it to be shipped back to us. Two months later we received the broken one back. When I called support they had no clue about what i was talking about and said they would make a ticket and investigate it. After several emails and phone calls we received a RMA asking us to pay shipping to send it again. Several emails and phone calls later I still have a DOA machine. Four thousand down the drain."
"I bought a 15' Mac Book Pro with extended warranty but when the gpu went bad I contacted them. They told me to mail it to them but when they saw that I included the information from Apple employee that the gpu you went bad they told me that there is nothing that they can do. When it comes to a cost to them they won't do anything and they were not returning the laptop back to me because they said that it came in a damaged box. When I packed it in bubble wrap and UPS box. I asked them to send me the pictures of the box so I could contact the carrier service but they didn't do that either because they knew that the laptop was not damaged due to that but the fact they didn't want to fix it. Don't trust them because they are good with sales but when it comes to service they don't care. I spent additional $400 on the warranty which was no use to me.

"Please do not utilize this business to buy a MAC or any other product for that matter. I bought what I thought was a MAC a couple of years ago and it died a week or so after receiving it. Customer service was very helpful sending me and charging me for the insured shipment of a replacement. Shipping the bad one was on me also. The replacement was ALSO bad; after taking it to an Apple store it was found that the processor, battery and the motherboard were not even Apple parts. The battery was 4,000 restarts old and almost dead. Gain Saver refused to refund my money or assist me further. I'm shocked this place is still around. Reported them to the BBB also. "
"A credit is usually a credit that may have a time limit or not..but the amount should never vary.. went to purchase another Apple and was told that my credit had shrunk 200 dollars because the unit that had been returned ( for technical issues) was now worth less 1.5 years later..that unit was resold by them along time ago, and has no bearing on my credit with the company..also, was sent computers that were not really described properly before I bought them...they just pick away at your value, or your money with little hidden rules meant to take the cash without honor.."
"If you are looking for a platform to sell your used laptop or desktop, I would suggest gain
saver. The website does not seek any kind of bargain in the price. It has made the
process of online selling simpler and negotiation free."
"Unlike the other websites, gain savers have something unique in them. I got out of the
ordinary services."

"I had to sell my old laptop and wanted to buy a new one as a gift to myself. But, before
visiting your website I was unaware that I can do both the chores at a single place.
Thanks to gainsaver.com who distorted the added-on work of selling and buying of
devices at two different places and made it possible at a single platform."
"‘Free gift cards’ are amongst the most attractive things about this website. So, keep
going and continue making your customers happy with such offers."
"Gone through some doubts but the customer support team resolved within a specified
time limit. Feel free to contact them for laptop purchase."
"They took my PC and handled it with care.
Gave me the best price. Thumbs up.

"The site offers various discounts and other benefits to the customers. I like those
‘banners of discounts.’
Could not control myself. Placed an order.
Happy."
"Gainsaver, has an option of buying a new battery for $79.00 when purchasing a used or refurbished MacPro.
Of course, knowing that the battery has probably degraded after a couple of years I opted for it. (Apple charges a flat rate of $199.00) After startup, I notice that the Battery Indicator said "Replace Soon". Being a network and computer systems Administrator for the past 20 years. I proceeded to do a SMC reset. Still the same result. After removing the back off the unit, upon inspection I noticed that the battery and it's mounting frame has dust in it. NO WAY this new. I took zoom shots of the battery and any serial numbers while I had it open. In addition, I took screen shots of the error and "About This Mac" with serial number displayed as well. I am waiting to hear back. My mistake was trusting them and not checking here on Reseller Ratings.
I don't trust sending the unit back, or them sending me a new battery. I just want re-credit and I'll replace it myself. I plan on letting them sing and dance before busting the bomb on them. The have A BBB "F" with 52 complaints and not respond with a single rebuttal. Some of them was for "New Batteries" This company is a fraud!"
"What I like here was, the macbook pro and it's affordable cost."
"I have had nothing but problems with this company. The first MacBook we ordered, we did not receive the model ordered. Since the model received was close to model ordered, and, my wife did not want to hassle with a return, we didn't pursue. Figuring it was a simple mistake, I ordered a MacBook for myself, and also didn't receive the model I ordered. I actually received a "better" model, however, all things considered, I still would have rather received the model originally ordered. Not learning my lesson, I sold my 13" MacBook to GainSaver, and it took 40 days to get a check. This after having to open 3 customer service tickets, continued follow up, and a BBB complaint."
