"Quality of both Ticor Sinks was excellent. Love how it looks installed with granite. Only problem was edges on the round sink were bent in transit. TT customer service. With their blessing and a hammer I straightened it and it installed fine. (I couldn't wait for a replacement without problems). I will order again if I have a need for their products. Galaxy was great to work with. Shipment and delivery were amazing fast.

"Well, I order some pads and blades from Galaxy. Some good prices. After a month, my back-ordered items arrived. The only problem was the 4" Sniper Premium hard Granite Blade. I didn't last 1-1/2 days cutting granite. After looking online, I could not find any info on Sniper. So I called Galaxy. The woman insisted that there was nothing they could do about the short wear. I know that blades are all different, but this was ridiculous. I've used much cheaper blades that lasted much longer! She kept telling me that granite can be so different and that I should use a "continuous" blade, not a "segmented". OK, as a DIY person and not getting technical, I believe the sniper falls under the continuous category (just has little grooves) - and the description even stated it! All I wanted to know from Sniper and Galaxy is whether it was "normal" for the blade to wear out in 2 days? Is that so hard to find out? I used a Felker FHS4 saw with water feed. The Sniper can go up to 15,000 rpms and my saw only goes up to 11,000 rpms-well under the max. Well, Galaxy was not helpful in helping me find the reasons why a "premium" hard granite blade didn't last. Their attitude was that "all blades are different" - meaning, I was out of luck! So a product advertised to cut hard granite only lasts 2 days? Galaxy sure doesn't seem to stand behind their products, not do they seem knowledgeable! This is unfortunate for the average consumer and shows how they get away with false advertisement. I guess I will take my business elsewhere. This is the last Sniper blade I will ever buy, not to mention buying from Galaxy Tool Supply. I guess customer support is not something they believe in..."

In my state(WA)we have 10% sales tax,so free shipping and no sales tax was a bonus. I shopped around and no one could offer a similar product for the price I paid. My counter top guys are thinking about offering Ticor sinks after seeing the quality of the product. I would purchase from Galaxy again!

"I ordered a TICOR S315 stainless steel kitchen sink from GTS, although with some reservations since there were some negative user reviews for TICOR. I did check GTS's rating on EBAY before ordering and that rating is excellent. I also emailed another TICOR purchase reviewer to get one-on-one feedback and that was also positive. My experience buying this first time from GTS was excellent. I paid a little extra for shipping vs. the free 7 day ground shipping offered so that our new granite counter top delivery could be expedited. The sink arrived within 2½ business days and the TICOR sink quality appeared to be very good. Confirmation of the quality came from the counter top guy doing measurements. When he lifted the sink from its box he stated he could tell it was of good quality due to its weight - 16 ga. steel vs. the normal thinner 18 ga. used for most popular brands. Plus, the TICOR sink was $150 to $250 less than popular brand name sinks. Overall, my experience with GTS was excellent and I am very satisied with the TICOR sink."

"I hesitated to order a Ticor stainless steel sink from Galaxy Tool Supply – I wasn’t familiar with the brand, and the price seemed much too low for the high quality described in the product write-up. I was afraid I might be falling for a “too good to be true” scam. Well, I just received my sink, and it’s even better than I’d hoped for! It’s a very solid 16-gauge model with a great sound-deadening coating, very nice brushed bowl interiors and mirror-finish undermount edges. Two strainers, mounting brackets & a cut-out template were included, as promised. Everything was well packaged and took just 4 days to arrive on my doorstep in perfect condition.
