"A big scam site. I ordered a modded Xbox only to have them to charge my credit card instantly. After 2 weeks I emailed to ask about the order, I was told it should be "about 3 days." Another week later, nothing. I called my credit card to dispute the charge. I haven't heard back from them since and their website seems to have dissappeared."
"I ordered a product from Game devil and still have not seen it. The company has been offline for quite awhile and I pretty sure they ripped me off. "
"Ordered some swap magic disks. A month and a half later, still have not received them. Will dispute the charge with Visa tommorow. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE."
"What a ripoff! I have contacted this seller twice regarding the non-delivery of my order. The site lists it as "pending". I get no response. After finding these reviews I have demanded an immediate refund. I just wish I had researched them better BEFORE ordering."
"I place an order with them for a slide card pro and Magic Swap. They immediately charged my Paypal account. Two weeks later and I still haven't recieved anything and after several attempts to contact the seller I decided to file a complaint with Paypal. That same day he refunded my money with a note "Out of Stock". Do not buy from here!"
"Ordered PS2 Classic Model with DMSPro 4 mod. Similar to the experiences of above people, I never got the item. I had some sparse contact with Mike, the Game Devil seller who promised the unit on three separate occasions and never sent it. Filed for a Visa charge dispute two months after placing initial order."
"Gamedevilonline is a scam shop. Don't shop from them because they'll charge your card ASAP and will never ship the item. The site owner ignores your emails after baiting you a little to give you false faith in him.
Do not believe Neonpush, as that is either the site owner himself or a friend of the site owner posting bogus reviews.
I only got scammed out $40 for a Swap Magic with Slide Card Pro. Sorry to hear you other guys getting hit big."
"Have order 2 HD advance DVD on July 28, 2005(Thursday) and paid with PayPal.
Never got a confirmation email so I decided to use their online email on Friday and got an email reply saying he was going to send it out via DHL on the following Monday. By Wednesday I did not get any confirmation regarding package shipment so decided to email back twice on Wednesday and on Friday. Now it is Monday (August 08) and not package.
Guess I am screw for now. Now I know to always use Credit Card because you can always file a dispute claim with the credit card company when something like this happens. I have filed a dispute with PayPal to see if they are able to resolve this or not. "
"I paid by wire transfer for 5 pre-mod PS2 consoles and never received anything from Gamedevilonline.com Money was sent to Mike Grotton. After 2 months he admitted that he lied and that he never sent the consoles that he promised he sent on 2 separate occassions. Here are some of his emails to prove this:
This is where he ackowledges receipt of payment:

Okay Marcus. I'll need your shipping address ... also, have you created an account at the site? We need to track it there. I can create a purchase order for you.
OK the funds were wired today to your account. A total of $1165 plus $15 to cover bank charges on your end was went so you should end up with $1165 in your account. They said you should have the money on May 1 but you can probably give it an extra day if you wish. Let me know when you receive it.
The order is for 5 PS2 consoles with the Matrix Infinity mod chip. I'll try the Xbox with the next order.
Thanks,
Marcus

I'll be honest with you. I had trouble fitting this into my schedule as a lump job, so I farmed it out to another installer. I suspect he may not have shipped the consoles but rather sold them himself with the intention of eventually setteling it up. I'm still trying to get an answer....
I'm not sure how emails are going through so just checking on progress. There's something that I don't understand...you sent me an email not too long after the package was sent, enquiring about the processes that consoles go through, as they seemed to be in "limbo". Were you able to track the package even though it was sent parcel post?
This is where he claims that he shipped another set stating that he's not sure what happened to the original shipment

Marcus. Today:
2 Classic, 1 slim.
I am going to throw an additional console in to make up for some of the delay. I will keep you up to date. Also I have tracking on this one. I will retrieve it from my shop in the morning.
This is the last email where he promised a refund and admitted that he sent nothing. No refund as yet.

I know you've been told a lot of things. All I can say, as I believe I said before, is I am so backed up on individual orders right now I kept having to move the consoles to the people who were in a position to do me the most damage either through chargeback or otherwise. In short, you gave me enough rope to hang myself and that is what I did. At no point have I been resting on my laurels. At any rate I look forward to telling you the wire has been done and we put this behind us."
"I placed an order in early June for a USB Extreme and a day later wanted to change it. I got in contact with Game Devil¡¦s customer service and requested the order be changed. Not only did I get the order changed but I received it a day after the call. Their service ROCKS!!! I would definitely order from those guys again¡K ƒº "
"Ordered an Xbox case, after 1 month no box in the mail! got in touch though email, opened a submit with VISA for fraud. only them got an answer.
Still waiting for my money..."
