"UNFORTUNATELY, I ORDERED A GAZEBO REPLACEMENT CANOPY (8' x 8") FROM GARDEN WINDS. IN DUE TIME, IT DID ARRIVE. I HAD TRIED TO CANCEL THE ORDER (WITHIN 8 HOURS) BECAUSE I WAS UNABLE TO OBTAIN THE SAME SIZE REPLACEMENT NETTING - IT HAD ALREADY SHIPPED - TOOK A WEEK TO RECEIVE. WHEN WE RECEIVED THE TWO-TIERED CANOPY - THE BLOODY THING WAS IN 2 PIECES - THE APEX OF THE CANOPY IS ABOUT 3 FEET TOO BIG - WE HAD A BIT OF RAIN TODAY, THERE IS NO WATER PROOFING. THE WEIGHT OF THE WATER ON TOP OF THE MUCH TOO LARGE TOP (APEX) OPENING AND SAGGING SIDES FROM THE TOP TO THE 4 LOWER CORNERS - IT IS A BLOODY MESS. THE ONLY REASON I DID NOT RETURN IT WAS BECAUSE GARDEN WINDS WERE GOING TO CHARGE SO MUCH FOR THE RETURN SHIPPING. BUT I AM SO SORRY I EVEN TRIED TO KEEP THIS MONSTROSITY OF A CANOPY. WHY DO THEIR EMPLOYEES NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE SELLING - WHY DO THE ON LINE DESCRIPTIONS NOT MATCH WHAT THE BUYER READS. APPARENTLY, THE 8 x 8'S ARE NOW RARE - IF YOU CAN'T PROVIDE AN ACCURATE DESCRIPTION FOR YOU PRODUCTS - PERHAPS THE EMPLOYEES SHOULD HAVE TO UTILIZE ONE AT THEIR HOME - THEN THEY TOO WOULD BE RIPPED! WHERE IS AMERICA'S QUALITY ASSURANCE? I AM PROUD TO BE A SENIOR CITIZEN (LIVING ON A FIXED INCOME); PERHAPS WE ARE TO NO LONGER EXPECT QUALITY FOR OUT HARD EARNED DOLLARS. THE CANOPY WAS NOT EXPENSIVE - THE GARDEN WINDS FIXED THE PRICE, AS THEY DID THE DESCRIPTION ONLINE - APPARENTLY, I WAS NOT SMART ENOUGH TO KNOW THEY-ARE NOT A REPUTABLE COMPANY."
"ordering was easy shipping was good but the replacement for our gazebo top was bad it did not fit to small over all, witch made all the hooks and fittings in the wrong place/ had to use zip ties to install. this was the second time we have ordered, had problems with the first one also. "

"We needed to make a decision about what to do with our 8' x 8' Canopy Gazebo. The fabric parts of the gazebo (the two-tiered canopy & net curtain) were deteriorating and dirty; the corner valances were still in good shape in spite of us deciding to leave them after putting them up-and-down a couple of times- too hard! We estimate we have had the set for about 6 years and put up/used the gazebo about 4-5 months of the year (New York state). It is very difficult to find that size gazebo- we have the framework bolted down in a corner of our deck and is just right in size. I was delighted when I found replacements for just what we needed (canopy & net curtain); the ordered arrived right on time (as estimated). We are very pleased with the set and are glad we can continue to get use out of the original framework and didn't need to start over- seems like it is all brand new again!"

"I purchased a replacement canopy in 2011 and used it for 5 years. Fit perfectly and was of better quality than the original. I ordered a replacement last fall, for the new riplock fabric. It was on sale in the fall, and I had a good experience before, so I didn't worry that I wouldn't be able to install it until the next spring, after the 30 day return period was over. When trying to install it this spring, it was too small in all dimensions by an inch or so. Could not install it. While trying (maybe I could force it?), it started to rip a bit. I don't recommend that new riplock fabric! Called Garden Winds - they could see my past orders and since the purchase was within a year, (and maybe because I was a repeat customer?), they offered to send me an 'open box' canopy of the fabric I used previously and was satisfied with, for $10. I expected a fight, but they were pleasant and helpful. Said they had no other sizing complaints like mine (surprising, or I just was the 'lucky' one who got a defective item). In any event, I'm pleased with the resolution and expect the canopy they send me will fit properly like the last one did."
