"We bought our canopy/gazebo used years ago. We've just ordered our third replacement canopy from Garden Winds. We didn't have the original packaging information when it came time to replace the first canopy. However, the GW website made locating the correct replacement easy. "Overall this item works; however after pulling and pulling the very top piece doesn't fit the frame on two corners. It's almost like it needs to be just an inch bigger. Because of this issue, the frame will more than likely tear or poke through the mesh when enough wind pressure gets to it. You are not able to tell that it doesn't exactly fit by first glance but after it starts to wear i am sure the frame will end up poking through the mesh. Also, most of the velcro straps fit the frame but there are two on the 10' ends that don't want to stay fastened because they are not long enough. I am hoping I can get some tan velcro and lengthen the velcro straps to enable them to loop around the frame. Overall i am okay but wished it would have been a perfect fit. "

We where going on three seasons with our previous Garden winds canopy when a freak large dust devil came through our back yard and ripped it to shreds. Lucky for us we knew just where to get a new one. This time we went with the riplock 350. Maybe we will get 4 or 5 years out of it"

"This is the 3rd or 4th canopy I have ordered. We've only had the gazebo for 5 summers. The hooks are held with a crappy piece of the elastic that continues to fray and with any light winds the canopy loosens up and flaps away, Causing all sorts of damage to the canopy hence we pretty much order a new one every year. We received a new one about two weeks ago and finally put it up today, I wish I could attach a picture because the elastic is already fraying. Last year I paid more for the better canopy and once again we are replacing it again this year. We put it up and within a week the elastic was all frayed and while we were at work, it ripped to shreds. We live in Buffalo so the canopy is generally up from June to September. That's not a lot of time for it to end up falling apart. We have easily spent over $600 on new canopies. You would think that the fastenening system would be more elaborate for something that is used outdoors. I will be filing a complaint on the website and sending a photo. "
