"The delivery was fine, but the canopy was horrible. Every time it rains, the top fills up with gallons of waterand can't escape. We have to push the pools up with a broom to push the water out on the ends, where it splashes gallons off! When the wind comes up, even slightly, it just about takes the entire canopy and stand off the ground. (good thing we have it secured to the deck) I thought it was similar to the canopy that came with it originally, where the water would run off, but if it rained hard, it would come through. The top is flat so the rain can only pool between the slats. They hang down about a foot between each slat, after a good rain."

"I agree with many of the existing comments that I reviewed prior to making this purchase. The color is lighter than the original but still looks good. On my original the sun bleached the top anyway and turned it a lighter color anyway. This canopy is much more sturdy than the original. It is a tight fit as with the original but since it is more study it doesn't rip as easily as the original. The underside of the canopy has a waterproof barrier as well. Very pleased with this purchase."

"We've had our pergola since 2008. When we bought it from Canadian Tire we asked if a replacement canopy could be purchased for future use and were told they didn't handle them.
I went surfing the net and found Garden Winds, I was ecstatic! I ordered two replacement canopies and we have just now installed our second one (we've gotten about 4 yrs out of each).
I went back online and once again was happy to still be able to obtain replacements through Garden Winds and so ordered another 2 replacements.

"My canopy cover fit nicely. The material it was made from is so thin it may not make it through the summer. I had to fabricate some aluminum cross braces to support the top of the material from sagging. No where near the thickness of the original canopy.
Not up to the standard I would expect."
