"It has been a mixed bag for me to deal with this firm. Their prices are mostly fair. I ordered a LiftMaster gate opener, a gate post, and a custom gate.

Initial contact was tough. No response to email. Calling the 800 number led me to a blackhole. Finally, a person who said he was the manager called me. He was knowledgeable and helped me make some choices.

I placed the order and the gate opener was shipped promptly.

The custom gate and gate post took about 10 weeks and my emails and phone calls asking for status (after about 8 weeks) were never answered. They had originally led me to believe it would be 4-6 weeks. Finally, they shipped it and one more email asking for clarification on their email to me about inspection went unanswered.

The gate post was supposed to have been powder coated black, but it wasn't. Another email to them about this went unanswered. Their website still claims the post is galvanized and powder coated black.

I had provided detailed engineering drawings for the custom gate. But they made the gate 1" too tall. I'm tired of even contacting them because it gets ignored anyway!

Overall, this company is not a scam or anything, but it is a hit-or-miss when it comes to any type of service you might want from them. Perhaps it is ok to order "in stock" items made by a reputed manufacturer from them so you can turn to the manufacturer for service. But, anything custom, I'd pause and look at other options."

"The price was fair. Shipping was fast. A part was missing and after many calls and stalling until the 30 day return time was past they finally sent it. Also their manual was misleading as to the provided components. They want another $60 for the system to work. I ordered another part and when I had not received it, or a tracking number, eight days later I called and found it had not been shipped yet. I cancelled the order. It's 28 days later my credit card has not been refunded."
