They said they never got notification of my cancellation, which was a lie because I was notified of the cancellation and they shipped it anyways. They could easily recall the package from FedEx but won’t. These people are liars and crooks"

"Purchased an item from them on amazon. They sent it. It was supposed to arrive at a certain day. I could not check the tracking because they used UPS which then transferred it to the USPS making it unreadable on the Amazon app, it was supposed to be delivered by a certain date, and it did not get delivered, I ended up having to go buy another one once I realized the package was lost. It was not free shipping because it was a third-party seller on Amazon. Never buy from these people unless you enjoy headaches and difficulty. "

"I'd never heard of gearnuts and got to looking for a tone bar. Placed the order and tracking info shows up 6 hours later. Couldn't track the package. Next day, still couldn't track the package. Sent a message to the seller and Hannah says it wouldn't be in the system yet because I had just placed the order. I needed to be patient. No, I need a correct tracking number. They sent it ups, to usps, for delivery.
The response from Hannah played in my head for over a week. I need to be patient. Furthermore, still didn't know who they were, I no longer want the product that hasn't arrived and can't be tracked that will always have Hannah's taint stinking it up that I need to be patient.
Finally they say we'll give you a refund as soon as its returned. Give a return mailing label and everything,,,, for me to return a slide, that is lost, and can't be tracked.
The return label was through fed ex. If it ever shows up, they want to guarantee it gets back to them. They shipped to throughout ups, to be delivered by usps, but want fed ex to return it to them, if it ever shows up.
I dont like sweetwater or any of the other big box stores selling junk as grade A equipment. YES, JUST LIKE WALMART. THEY BUY SO MUCH AT SUCH A LOW COST, THE BUILDER SENDS THEM THE JUNK. THEY PAY 30% OF THE FINAL, MOM AND POP PAYS 50%, MOM AND POP GETS THE BETTER GRADE OF EQUIPMENT.
If I had known gearnutz was a sweetwater and not a mom and pop, I wouldn't be writing this."

"I purchased a Pearl Roadshow drum set for my husband for Christmas. The floor tom was received slightly damaged, which is odd because it was packaged inside the kick drum which was not damaged. I assume it came from the manufacturer that way. Anyway, I reached out to Gearnuts not really expecting much and was not looking forward to a fight after the holidays. I can't tell you how pleasantly surprised I was by their outstanding customer service. They returned my call, they emailed, they followed up with more emails ... long story short, they reached out to Pearl who sent a replacement floor tom no questions asked and we didn't even have to send back the damaged tom!! They collected money from me for an item that they never had, gave me a run around for a month, wanted me to wait for another month, then finally agreed to refund me the money but never issued a refund. I filed a claim with Paypal and I have to wait for another 10 days. You definitely don't want to go through that. Stay away from this scam website."
