"I ordered two items from them: a windshield cleaning device and some wool socks. The former arrived broken and took more than a week for them to reply. Once they did, it was another 7+ days before a replacement came. Nobody's life was in danger for lack of this order, so I won'e register much of an objection.
With regard to the socks, they smelled strongly like gasoline, something I have never had happen on a clothing purchase. Thinking it might be some sort of fabric conditioner, I washed the socks, which came out of the dryer as strongly scented of gasoline as they went into the washer. I conveyed this to their customer service that not only did I want a refund but that this odor may represent a toxic exposure that their company should be aware of. Again, 7 days went by before I got a response wherein they told me I would be responsible for shipping the item back. I emailed two additional times to ask that they send a prepaid label. I never got a response and it has been a month. Given the low cost of the item and the relatively high cost of shipping, I simply threw away the socks.
I love a good deal as much as the next guy but it is anything but a good deal if a company knowingly sells crap and then cuts the customer loose when the marginality of their products is recognized.

"I ordered a gift item at Christmas and was informed the item would be shipping UPS which is exactly what I needed. Where I was staying does not have USPS service. When the package arrived at the city's destination, the package was changed over to a USPS delivery which I could not receive. The item was returned to GearXS and I was charged a return shipping fee and the remainder was refunded. I NEVER would have ordered the item if I knew it was going to be shipping USPS, but it stated on the order it was coming UPS.
UPDATE 2/4/16 I was contacted by customer service and offered a store credit. This was a nice gesture, although, to me, they should have refunded the total amount they charged me to have the item returned to them by USPS or they could have shipped the item to my home as I requested."
