"I purchased an item from Gearclub Direct, and there was no mention of a shipping delay on the item page or during the checkout process. I was never sent a tracking number. I waited more than 2 weeks for the item to arrive. Then I contacted Gearclub Direct. I was able to speak to a customer support representative, who promised to send more information by email. I did not receive anything. A few days later, I called a second time. I was again told that I would be sent more information by email, and was also offered a $10 partial refund for the trouble. Again I did not receive any information, and did not receive any refund. I called a third time and talked to a manager, who blamed Gator for the delay. I told him about the trouble with communication, but he insisted it was Gator's problem. He did give me a $15 refund that I promptly received. A few days later another manager called me and sort-of apologized for all the trouble. He told me that the item would arrive soon, and it did arrive the next day, 3 weeks after the purchase date."
