I ordered a Perpetual calander Kinetic SNPoo7 mens watch for my sons birthday that he said he wanted only to change his mind after the order was placed. I called the owner the next day and apologised saying I wanted to cancel the order and he said no problem he would take care of it and I would receive credit to my Visa account within five business days as he cancelled shipping on his end to make it quicker and easier, according to his words.
I had to make several emails after this contact to question again about my refund that was not yet received. I also made three phone calls and spoke to his employee, who also told me I would receive a refund to my Visa account within 48 hours and a email verification, that last one to her was on the 28th of October and still no refund or confirmation. I called again on the 29th of October, a friday and spoke again to the owner who assured me that an office error held up my refund and I would receive it within 24 hours. After all these empty promises and shenanigans I decided to contact my Bank to make a report against this company. On the 3rd of November I did just that and an investigation is now ensuing. In the meantime the bank has issued me a refund of what I paid Gem of the Day.
I also did find their listed ad at the time of my orering a little odd. It stated that if I logged on to their twitter blog I would receive an additional 15% discount from the present sale price I paid. When I contacted Gem of the Day about this, his assistant put me on hold to speak with the owner who said it was an old add and no longer effective. I thought if it were an old ad it should have been removed so not to cause issues or problems when ordering. I did not push this and felt it best to leave alone. It is my intention to contact Seiko Watch Co. and inform them of this dealers practices.
In closing all I can add is, BUYER BEWARE of Gem of the Day.
As of Novemberr 6th I have not yet recived my refund or any email confirmation nor any explanation of why?????"
