"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!! They sent me thee wrong item and from that point on it has been completely ridiculous. They told me that if I purchased the correct item from them a full refund would be applied to my account when they received the old one. This did NOT happen. I spoke with 4 separate people in their customer service department, the first one says she just filed the paper work and give it 1-2 business days to process my credit. I didn't get it in 1-2 business days so I called back and another guy told me it was processing. Called back AGAIN on a Saturday and the guy I spoke with told me it already was posted to my account (which it wasn't)he then transferred me to the manager Joanne, who told me that they would no longer be refunding me the money... She stated that it took to long to get back to them. REALLY? I was within the 7 business days that was required to send it back and their was an ice storm/ blizzard in my area. But some how that is MY fault and I am out close to 350.00 now on account of TERRIBLE customer service. Manager Joanne is the absolute worst manager I have ever met. She talks over and will not shut up and listen to what you have to say. All they care about is getting your money. They don't even care if they give you the wrong ITEM as long as they get your money that's all that matters. "
"I had ordered two dual chrome tip mufflers and was very happy with the looks of these mufflers from the website picture and when I received them, problem started when I asked there sales person if these were stock sounding, he responded yes,I asked again and he responded yes,I said okay place the order, I was then transfered to the processing department and my order was then completed,but before I finished the order I asked this person about the sound of the mufflers and again was told they were stock sounding. I received the mufflers four days later went to my exhaust shop had them mounted started the car and reached for some ear plugs to drown out the loud annoying low base noise they made. I emailed Genesis auto parts and was told to call them so they could resolve my problem with there mufflers so I did, I explained how unhappy I was with the sound of the muffles and would have not bought them had I known they were not stock sounding, the sales rep. said no problem he would tell a supervisor and I would get a call back asap. Well two full days later no one called me back, so I called them again,I again explained to the sales rep. what the problem was and he told me there was no record of anyone calling them about this order and the problem with the noise level of the muffler,he kept asking for a name and I told him, you record the conversations and there must be a record of who sold these, he told me there was not and that these were loud sounding mufflers and I need to put a silencer on them to reduce the noise they are making,never said they were sorry about misrepresenting there product to me and since they were already mounted they could not help me with any kind of refund or credit. I asked for the supervisor who was supposed to have called me back two days ago, I explained to her the problem and was told the same thing if they were mounted already then the could not help me, I explained to her if your sales person would not have lyed to me about the sound being stock I would have never purchased them in the first place, she said there sales people are trained not to tell the customer anything about the sound of the muffer, hmm the sales person who I just talked to before I was put on with the supervisor said these were loud sounding mufflers and I should put on a silencer. I explained my position to the supervisor for over twenty minutes until finally she put me on hold and never picked up again after I waited for over half and hour. I would not suggest buying anything from Genesis Auto Parts unless you enjoy being told untruths about there products and being on hold for more than thirty minutes without anyone picking up or having phone calls never returned after waiting two days for a supervisor to call you back. This was my first and very last purchase I will ever make from Genisis Auto Parts. Shame on you Genesis Auto Parts for lying to your customers about your products and not training your staff properly about telling the truth to the customer when they ask about any of your products."

"I ordered an all aluminum radiator for my ford escort from Genesis Auto parts and decided to go with them over an ebay seller who had the same part for around $50 less because I figured Genesis for a reputable reseller who would ship in a timely matter. I was very happy to find that shortly after I had placed my order I received a ship confirmation and a tracking number, it seemed I had chosen wisely.
Unfortunately, I was very wrong. The day that the radiator was supposed to have been delivered I saw that the funds had reappeared in my account, so I checked my inbox and found that they had sent me an email saying that the part was now out of stock. Not only did the part say it was in stock at the time I had ordered it, but when I went back to their site the part was still listed as "in stock". I was not given an opportunity to back order the part, nor was I offered any sort of concession of free expedited shipping to account for their error or even an apology for that that matter.
I work in the customer service industry and understand that inventory mistakes happen, but the way this mistake was handled shows incredibly poor customer support. Anything that Genesis carries you can find on Ebay, RockAuto, or the local parts store for the same price or less with better service so I see no reason to order from Genesis anytime in the future."

The pump alone at local retail chains was nearly $250 and I payed only $85 and that incl shipping. I will definately do business with genesis again.
