Also in the item not received case, he lied and provided false information in order to influence eBay customer support.
I got tired and canceled the order. It's too bad eBay allows such low grade sellers to do business on eBay."

"I purchased a laptop motherboard for my computer, my daughter was diagnosed with leukemia so I didn't have a chance to even open the laptop for a few months. When I opened it I saw it was the wrong board, I called them and they told me to come down and they would take care if it. When I got there they told me they would not exchange it because of the time that had passed since I purchased it, I explained the situation and they still would not do anything. I didn't even break the seal on the packaging so they could have easily put it back in stock and given me the the right board but they would not, I just don't understand business men like that."

"NEVER AGAIN. I ordered a battery and an AC adapter/charger (the charger was meant as a spare) for laptop. These were supposed to be exact replacements and new, not the refurbs. I got them in a timely manner; however, the adapter was not exact but it did have the same ratings as my original. It did appear to work properly as well. The battery was exactly as my original but it wasn't any good. It didn't look new, the original Toshiba tags were not on it, only the tag with GetPartsOnline's barcode and serial number tag, and it was worse than the one I was replacing it with. Dead and wouldn't charge. I obtained the RMA number and corresponded with them on the problem. I shipped it back within the 14 days alotted. I paid the shipping on my return. I informed G.P.O. customer service that I would like an exchange for a 'good' battery rather than a refund if it was found to be defective. I was contacted and told I would be getting a refund shortly after they received it. I responded and ask that I get an exchange and their reply was that it was out of stock and that I would get a refund rather than a good battery. Needless to say, the charger with a price of $24.99 via their 'honest' website catalog, wound up costing me $51.91, after their 'generous' refund of the battery with no shipping cost refunded of course. This does fit the perverbial cliche` of if something seems too good to be true, it probably is, at least 95% of the time. All I can say, is if you get directed to the reviews on Yahoo, be sure and scan through all of them, it's misleading on the face of it. By all means, read more than what is on GetPartsOnline page."
"I will NEVER order anything from this company again. I attempted to return an UNOPENED LCD screen. Upon returning, I was informed of the 20% restocking fee. I asked why and I got a canned answer. When I asked to speak to someone else, I got some foul-mouthed "customer dis-service" supervisor who basically told me to take it or leave it.
I suggest that you look elsewhere for electronic parts and be sure to read he fine print. There are much better suppliers out there than these rip-off artists."
"I ordered a computer part and paid for it with paypal. The money had been taken but when I checked the order status it was blank. I send them an email no response, I tried live chat but nobody was available so I left a message but no response. I contacted PayPal and they contacted getpartsonline, nothing happened for a few days I then decided to open a dispute through PayPal and try and get my money back. Then a week later I received an email from getpartsonline stating that the parcel had been sent. The send date was one day after PayPal contacted them but they never contacted me.
The part they send me was buckled and doesn't work. PayPal has closed the case because getpartsonline had sent the item.
Now I can send the part back and pay for the postage (I live in Australia) and be at their mercy whatever they want to do: tell me that there is nothing wrong with it, give me a refund or not. It is not worth my while pursuing this matter. Just wanted to let other people know my experience and I am not alone.

"To try and begin to explain how terribly wrong this transaction went and how horribly I was treated would be difficult and lengthy. I will try to summarize with some key points. I ordered (2) 2504-10U Docking stations for IBM Think Pads. The price I got was the best I found on the web, but because of difficulty finding the dock that properly fit our laptops I made sure returns were allowed. My staff was able to find 2 of the same docking stations for $2.50 at a state office supply auction.. So I requested an RMA from the site and it was received. I had the items boxed up and shipped back including the original packing slip, and the RMA number. I received an email on September 2nd stating that the package arrived missing the (2) 90 Watt Chargers that were shipped along with the docking stations and that one of the stations was damaged, missing a retention clip, I'm not into computers so I probably couldn't point out a retention clip if my life depended on it. I called the RMA department approximately 20 mins later and in the time between that email and that phone call .. all of a sudden both docking stations were “destroyed” and scratched up. Not to mention… I never received the (2) 90 Watt chargers they say I didn’t send back. It’s fairly difficult to send back 2 items that were never shipped to me in the first place. I called and was met with an RMA rep named Matt who was right off the bat accusatory and hostile. He made no effort to work with me or discuss the situation. He and I remained on the phone for a good 20 mins, although for 8 of those minutes I was on hold. After getting no where and getting no explanation as to what exactly was wrong or why there was so much discrepancy between the information I received via email and information I received on the phone I asked that the owner call me the next day. I left my phone number and name and expected a phone call on Friday (the next day). That phone call never came and around 3pm Tuesday afternoon I picked up the phone to get this resolved. I was met with another 7 minutes on hold after giving my order number. The call was picked up by a man named Jeffery who “runs things”. Through our 15 minute conversation Jefferey proceeded to call me “cheap” several times and told me “I can come to their office and see the damage” Seeing my order I think he knew very well that I was located in Maine and their office is located in NY. Passive aggressive if you ask me. He continued to bash me as a person and a customer, to say he was unprofessional is a vast understatement. When I explained that my main issue here was the disconnect between the email I received and the information I got on the phone and the fact that I never received the 2 chargers that were supposed to ship with my docking stations he stated that “they usually come with the docking stations” my reply, “well let’s address the fact that I paid for 2 items I didn’t receive” his reply “We’ll address that later”. All in all .. customer service with this website is beyond reprehensible. I’d advise anyone considering doing business with GETPARTSONLINE.com to think twice then go somewhere else. "
"HORRIBLE service. I called before placing my time critical order 3 hours before their ship time. They stated they would have "No problem" getting my order out the same day if I placed it online and called them to have it "walked through". 30 hours later I receive an email stating that they were unable to process the order. For real? I called, 6 min on hold I am disconnected. I call back, hold for a transfer and am hung up on. I call back and 3 min later someone tells me that I will have to pay additional for my item to ship so I receive it in time. I paid for express shipping for a reason, and it was not so I could wait 3 additional days for this company to get their act together. Do not waste your time with this company that does not care about the customer.

The adapter was the genuine article, brand new and works perfectly. I was able to pay using PayPal, so did not have to give out any credit card information. I am very pleased with this transaction, and will use this merchant again. The only downside is the shipping cost seemed a bit high, but that may be UPS?"
"This company is like walking on thin ice. All I wanted was a $24 part and the shipping was 13.93. This was the cheapest shipping price! Ebay did the whole thing for 26 including shipping.

"Do yourself a favor and shop elsewhere! I ordered a Dell M1210 battery on 2/27. They processed my credit card and said that the item was shipped the same day. It is now 11 days later. When I reviewed the UPS tracking, it had no delivery date so I sent GETPARTSONLINE.COM an e-mail requesting the status of my order. I get back an e-mail stating that they oversold the item and were refunding my money. Just when were they going to let me know that I would not receive it? Also, I checked my credit card - they were quick to take the money but so far no refund. I will never order from this vendor again! Very poor customer service!"
"Advertised their hard drives to be direct from the manufacturer but they were from iPods and therefore did not work in my Creative Labs MP3 player. Dishonest, misleading, confusing. Also I paid for 3-Day Select and it arrived in 7 days not 3. Arrived in an old, beaten up box and the drives were poorly packaged. Very unprofessional."
"Very fast shipping, items as described and at a about the best price I found, including ebay. Ordered 10am, they sent tracking number at 1pm or so, tracking number showed results by 10pm or so and UPS info showed received sometime later PM. Shipped super-fast, somehow UPS ground only took a couple days to go nearly half way across the country. Parts are original Compaq/HP as described. No problems. Did not have to deal with any customer service issues at all. Had parts one day and they fixed the problem I was having with laptop not charging properly and not working even when plugged in."
