I bought my M3 SD Pro back in November 2006. I was completely satisfied at my purchase and I used it without any problems.

However, in June 2007 (nearly 7 months later), my m3 adapter broke and would not function anymore. I contacted the modmyds.com, though with little hope that support from online stores would be successful. However, after filing a support ticket, I received a reply within a day with information on how I can replace my M3 adapter! Though the warranty on items bought from this store only lasts for 30 days, the support at this site was able to replace my faulty adapter if I only paid for the shipping costs! This was a great relief to me, considering that I thought about the trouble having to buy a new adapter all over again. Contact with the support team was almost instantaneous every time I sent a reply.

The replacement came in the mail in perfect working condition, and I am very happy with the support modmyds.com was able to provide for me with my faulty item.

"Let me start off by saying that I don't think I've ever had a more positive and professional experience with a company, ever. I am very weary about buying things online, because there are a lot of companies that will rip you off or have no communication after the purchase is made. This was definitely not the case with modmyds.com

after I made the purchase, I got an email hours later telling me that my package had been shipped, and included a tracking number for the package. I made the purchase late at night (around 1 am) and recieved this email by 11 o'clock the next morning. Sounds like a pretty standard simple thing, right? Well, in my experience in online purchasing, it's usually 24 hours before you even get a response from the company that you even made a purchase, and another 12-24 hours (if they're good) before the package ships. So what usually takes most internet retailers 36-48 hours for most places to ship your items (even the big companies like amazon) took 10 hours for this company. On top of that, there was excellent communication the whole way.

When I got the item (which was an r4 unit for my Nintendo DS) it worked great... for a few days. then I ran into some problems with it. And that is a nightmare for anybody who as ever purchased anything online, because normally, even with the big powerhouse companies, the customer service ends when the package is in your hands. Not so with modmyds.com. I sent an email (again late at night) to modmyds.com not really expecting to get a response for at least a couple of days. I woke up the next morning (a mere 8 hours later) to find that not only had he (his name was Samad) written back, but he apologized for the problem, and even took the time to explain the failure rate for the r4 and some other useful information, explaining that I just got some bad luck (with the 1-2% defect rate for the r4). He then proceeded to inform me that he had a new replacement unit ready to ship out THAT HE HAD TESTED HIMSELF. and to make it up to me he made a cd with some usefull programs that he personally uses on his r4 (which you could find for free across a number of websites, but this actually saved me at least a couple of hours). Needless to say, I was blown away, not only by his prompt response, but his willingness to go far above and beyond to make sure that I was completely happy with my purchase.

So, I shipped my faulty r4 to him, he sent me an email when he recieved it, with a tracking number for my new r4 unit. I got the new unit two and a half days later.

Total turn-around time from sending my faulty unit until I had a replacement in my hands: 4.5 days. Outstanding. I've experienced standard turnaround times of up to 6 WEEKS with some other online retailers.

To wrap things up, DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!
Not only do they have the best communication before, during, and after the purchase that I have ever seen from ANY company, but their customer service was WAY above and beyond anything I've experienced. Ever. And I never would have expected in a million years that I would get this kind of service from a small internet retailer. If every company (big and small) had this kind of customer service and care, the world would be a much better place. On top of that, the prices are simply awesome as well!"
