"Special offers are difficult to understand. I've ordered from GiftCollector for several years, but when I tried to use a birthday coupon they said it wasn't valid. Then there are the bonus points....not sure how those are calculated or applied. This last order, the bonus points at least covered the shipping. Only part of what I wanted was available, so I had to place a second order with another company (I would have ordered everything during my birthday month but when the coupon wasn't valid I didn't) Anyway the second company's price for the merchandise was the same and the shipping was free. I'll check them first next time, but will still consider GiftCollector in th future."

"This company's customer service stinks. I ordered 3 crystal glasses on Dec. 5. I subsequently received a shipment of merchandise but there was an error. Though addressed to me the box contained another customer's merchandise and invoice. It was clear that someone likely accidently switched shipping labels at the store. I immediately placed a call to their customer service number but encountered an automated system -- leave a message and we will call you back. Since mid-December I have made at least 8 calls to GiftCollector and sent several email messages regarding this matter. To date I have not gotten a response. I have tried calling every number on their Web site, even the one for placing an order, but cannot reach a human. Just a recording. They have charged my American Express account for the merchandise and I would like a credit. I have tried finding an email address for their company CEO -- even going on LinkedIn to locate him, but no luck. I am considering reporting the company to the State of Virginia Attorney General's office for credit card fraud. My frustration level is through the roof. If I didn't keep getting promotional emails from them I would suspect they are out of business. I will never order from this company again."
