"We made a purchase online using paypal on November 11, 2004. After waiting more than three weeks for the product to be delivered, we began making inquiries as to where it was because we had not yet received it. We emailed them and called the number listed on the website, but received no responses.
After a few more days of waiting, I emailed them to several different email addresses listed on the website and on my paypal receipt, and called them a couple more times, again with no responses. I informed them that if we did not receive the delivery in the next couple of days, a response that reasonably justified the lack of delivery, or a refund, I would file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Still, we received no response.
I then filed the complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and with PayPal. Within a matter of hours, the amount was refunded - because of the PayPal complaint. Keep in mind, that if PayPal receives too many complaints about a single seller, the seller loses the priviledge of using their service. So, it is my best guess that it was refunded so they would not lose the use of paypal.
Along with the refund was a short message saying that "the owner was indisposed" and that the person refunding the money had only started helping out two days before. For a company that did not respond to any inquiries, they sure kept a pretty close eye on the incoming cash flow, don't you think? Also, the telephone number that we had called had an outgoing message stating the person's name was "Jay". I saw no mention on the website reflecting "Jay" as being part of the business. Perhaps this is a bogus phone number?
My best advice is to keep far clear of this website. There are far too many things that don't add up, and they were completely reliable even if these were mere coincidences. I have received the refund, and consider myself lucky at that. But, I would hate to think of how many people may have been ripped off (potentially) without filing the complaints. Again, stay away."
