"This has been my 1st order dealing with Gigaparts. The product is good ( Alinco DX-SR8 ) However, I chose " free-Shipping "#1. My order arrived just 14 hrs, before the " 7 day limit from invoice date, my invoice was dated 22 Feb 2013 and wasen't shipped until 23 Feb 2013 ( a Saturday, USPS!!) #2 I live in a remote area of the coal-fields of Virginia #3. seven (7) days to get a refund, ect from invoice is foolish. #4. as a result of this limitation, I will never make a major purchess from Gigaparts, again."

I am in the process of revamping our warranty and return policies and one of the specific things I am addressing is this issue. While our policy states 7 days from the date of purchase, our practice has been to help any customer who has a defective radio product and quite often we assist them 30-90 days out.
If you check around, you will find that our policy is in line with what other dealers offer. The reason for this is that there used to be some pretty restrictive return policies on the part of a few major manufacturers. That's eased up now and I would expect to see the rest of the market adjust soon, just as we are.”
