"I have just received my Tascam 2488neo 24 track digital recorder from Gigasonic and i am most impressed, the service was first class all the way,from my first enquiry to delivery.
I was a bit worried about buying it from the United States and having it shipped all the way down here to Australia,but the whole process went like clockwork, it arrived on time in perfect condition and i have told my friends in Australia they need have no worries about buying any product from Gigasonic .

"Poorest customer service ever. If I could give no stars, I would. We have had the WORST experience with Gigasonic. I ordered a digital piano from them on November 22. We even bought the shipping insurance. My credit card was charged immediately. I received the piano 6 days later only to find it had been damaged during shipping. The main damage was the crunched pedalboard. We left everything in the box and called Gigasonic Customer Service immediately to see what they wanted us to do. They told us to unpack everything and take pictures of the damage and email it to them so they could file claims with UPS. Since then it has been a nightmare of leaving voicemails and emails trying to figure out what's going on, occasionally getting a response filled with empty promises that replacement parts will be shipped soon. Now over 5 months later, we still have the same busted piano which sits on two little tables since the footboard is busted. We have now asked for a refund and they are still ignoring us saying the earthquake in Japan is delaying things but that parts will be sent as soon as possible and to be patient. Really?? Five months later?? Be patient? "

I placed an order March 5th, 2008 (Wed.) and used expedited shipping to recieve the item in time for a gig that Friday and 5 days later (Mon.) my order is still being processed with no news or sign of activity with my payment already recieved. I have emailed and not gotten any responses and am very close to cancelling my order. I am not going to pay $56 for expedited shipping and not get my item for a couple of weeks.
