"Please don’t buy from them. I ordered my pair of glasses on 13th February. Delivery times are 10/12 working days which is fair enough however after 14 working days, I am still waiting then to contact me. At the beginning, I was quite impressed because updates were coming through via emails like glasses are being prepared and being a small company, it would have taken a bit longer but customer service is atrocious. I keep sending emails and I received 2 answers advising my query has been passed to the account department or the shipping department. I am wondering how many departments they have being a small company! They are only taking time! After almost 3 weeks I am still waiting for a resolution. I am without glasses and without my money back!"

Received an email on 19 March saying that my "order has now entered our Liverpool Laboratory and we will be glazing your prescription lenses."
Today is 25 April, nearly SEVEN WEEKS later and I am still waiting for delivery.
Glasses123 say on their website, "we're not happy unless you are." Well, I'm NOT happy.

On the 23th of May their support assured me my order will be dispatched with a few days.
I've written bunch of email about refund and non will be answered.
How on earth a company like this still can operate in the UK?

"Most of my purchases I do online but such a poor service I have never experienced before!!!
First of all, it takes ages for them to reply to the emails or they do not reply to them at all!! Very difficult to get through on the phone and once you get through, the assistance is very unpolite!!! They promise to give a call back but they never do!! You ask them for the information to send but they just ignore it and never send it!! No customer service at all!!!
I took me almost 2 weeks to purchase the glasses because I wasn't getting any reply to my emails even though I was assured by the assistance on the chatter online support that I would.
I have also sent my glasses for reglazing and surely enough it didn't go right either. No one was in the office during office working hours to receive the delivery (of course Glasses123 say royal mail never tried to attempt to deliver it). I sent an enquiry about my order on Friday and no one reacted at all till I called them on Thursday next week. After 3 weeks spending a lot of time of calls and emails I have finally received my glasses back but without them being reglazed!!! So I paid for the job that should have been done in 3-4 working days (so I was told by Clair) but instead it took over 3 weeks and not even having done the job!!! What a waist of time and money!!
It is not a company! To me it is a bunch of people who pretend they can do business!!! Very disappointed!!!

Paid for the highest spec lenses. Glasses took ages (2 months) to get to me. When they finally did the lenses have surface scratches on them. Have contacted them and they have not replied. This condition of a new product is unacceptable regardless of the amount I paid. I definitely do not recommend these amateurs."

"I have been to several opticians for my first pair of reading glasses and was not impressed by selections until i saw a pair in House of Fraser. I came home and had a search on the web and found them on glasses123 at a very good price. "Appalling, 6 1/2 months for a pair of glasses! I purchased a pair of Jaeger frameless glasses from this establishment, got the order about 2 weeks later, about 2 months later one the lenses shattered, even though I purchased the expensive durable lenses. I complained but they said it was not their fault, none the less I was foolish enough to send them in an pay for them to be repaired, yet *another* big mistake, 2 weeks later, I received someone else's used glasses!! I complained sent them back, 2 weeks later after numerous emails/calls got sent that same pair back again!!! I complained again, 2 weeks later after more numerous emails/calls I get sent my glasses, but wrong prescription! Is it rocket science? I complained and got told by owner (Gavin Winstanley) I'd get a free pair and a refund for all my return costs, 3 X Royal Mail Special Delivery, 3 months later still waiting for the refund, and my free pair of glasses which are no longer in stock, as I got told to chose from a list of glasses that only dame edna would wear at a red nose day!
Needless to say steer clear of them!"
