"This is a horrible company to deal with and I have not ordered from them since the last horrible transaction with them last year. They use to be great, but then they raised their prices and the orders took way too long to receive. The customer service is very poor and they take forever to respond. The return process is terrible and, again, the customer service is very bad. Then, when the refund was finally issued, they didn't even refund me the full amount! "After hours of uncertainty whether to buy prescription eyeglasses online, I checked a number of reviews/ratings and came down to 3 online possibilities, settling on Global primarily because they had the frames and lenses I liked at the lowest cost. Having never ordered online I was apprehensive. The process of selecting frames and lens was user friendly. I liked that I could see the glasses on a person and the frame description was simplified enough for a novice to understand. I was impressed that shortly after placing the order I received a confirmation and a contact person to walk me though the process. I was a little confused with the request to confirm my prescription but understood the reasoning. All I needed to do was reiterate the prescription and verify it was recent and from an accredited eye examination.
Then problems arose! My prescription is progressive and the frames I selected were too small for the lenses. Again I received a quick although unsatisfying request to select a different frame. I was a tad annoyed. I selected a bigger frame and proceeded. Delivery was as advertised. The glasses had a 30 day return policy. All seemed well. Unfortunately the frames I selected to accommodate my prescription turned out to be extra large and unsatisfactory. I wrote back expressing my concerns. Global staff were helpful, but the return or replace instructions were confusing. My frustration was evident in the emails between myself and the customer service representative. The return policy is flawed and confusing, On the positive side, after some negotiation, we were able to reach consensus and I ordered replacement frames and lenses at a reasonable cost and kept the first pair as a spare, getting a second pair for a few dollars more. These glasses took considerably longer to arrive, but were as advertised. Overall, regardless of the frustrations and delays, I would recommend this company and its product to others. Overall I was very satisfied with the product and the service provided and would give Global a 4 out of 5 rating."

"I give these guys high marks for amazing customer service. I ordered a pair of RX sunglasses from them. When the glasses arrived they were quite too small to fit my head. I emailed their customer service agent straight away and she helped me return my incorrectly ordered glasses and helped me reorder a pair that would fit better. She walked me through the process step by step. As this was my mistake I was prepared to have to pay for disposal and reissue of my next order. That was not the case. "Eyeglasses were delivered with the wrong frame. Photos were requested by Global and supplied by me. I was then told "the order was delivered exactly as ordered" NO WAY!

I protested by saying "I ordered a Devon repeat Devon frame."

The issue was kicked upstairs to Saloni Gupta, Executive at Global. Gupta proceeded to process the dispute with a professional calm by offering me several options. I requested
a refund.

Then an approved RMA was issued with instructions how to return the glasses. I returned the glasses and a refund was issued the next day. However I was not refunded the $3.65 postage I paid to return the glasses.

I have no problem doing business with global in the future.
