Ridiculous costs to return an item to Global Golf

"Ordered the wrong item (my fault) - HOWEVER on a $49.95 item including shipping they charged almost $27 to return it when initial shipping was only $14.95! Unacceptable customer gouging on returns."

"Got a Taylormade M2 used very happy. The shipping was quick and this thing looks brand new. I put more scratches on it practice swinging in my yard as soon as I got it. Will definitely be back for more soon. "

Great First Experience

"I ordered a new (used) 3 wood on Sunday afternoon and the club was here before my daughter was done school on Tuesday. Of course the club wasn't the one I wanted but I ordered the wrong shaft so it wasn't Global Golfs fault. Ironically I took the club the the range and I hit it fantastic (We all do at the range) . So I am keeping it anyways and ordered 2 more clubs from that series andI will either increase to 5 stars or downgrade depending on 2nd time service. "

Poor customer service after ordering clubs

"Bought clubs, came on time and in good condition as promised. Unfortunately ordered the wrong set so immediately ordered the correct set. Notified the company of the mistake and they supplied a shipping label for the return. Was out of town and unable to ship the clubs until after the 30 day window. GlobalGolf is totally unwilling to refund my money for the first set, insisting that there is nothing they can do - i’m stuck with a gift card. I already bought the correct set of clubs - from GlobalGolf! I have no use for a gift card.

It bewilders me that their customer support is so unwilling to help me out here. I’ve never had an experience like this with a golf retailer.

Two Orders - No Problems

"I've ordered 2 sets of clubs in 'value' condition from globalgolf over the course of the last 2 years, and both were in great condition, including the grips. The most recent order had a mis-matched grip on the wedge (of a 3-pw set), but nothing wrong with it. Can't recall shipping specifics on the first order, but with the 2nd, clubs arrived a day after shipping. Had an issue with one club on my first order several months after receiving it, and global had the shaft replaced (with the matching shaft) for free - I just had to pay to ship the club back to them ($10). Would not hesitate to use these guys again."

Absolutely amazing in my opinion

"I have been playing golf for over 20 years. Spent a ton of money on 5 different sets over the years. I was on eBay trying to find an old set of Nike clubs I used to have and like I thought, it was very difficult to find the line I wanted with the flex, length, etc of what I need. A lot of clubs to sift through. After going on Google and searching for "used clubs" I came across Global Golf. I ordered my old Dymo driver in "value" condition . I was skeptical but for 29.99 it was worth the risk.

Clearly states there is obvious wear and has been played frequently so I expected it to be missing paint, dinged up a little, etc. Much to my surprise it was not. There was a very very small dot of black where there should be yellow on the shaft and some normal scuff marks on the bottom of the head. That's it. Club face was in perfect shape. Grip was still good. Just awesome. Since then I ordered another driver which again looks barely used and was value. I am awaiting a putter, 5 wood, sand wedge, and lob wedge as I'm typing this. I expect wedges and putters to be a bit more abused. I could see markings on a putter after having mine for a few months. Most use their driver 14 times a round and a putter 18-36. You just get more wear. Anxious for the putter and 5 wood because they are listed as "very good" condition. I feel very sure they will look great based off my value experience. Shipping does take a day or 2 longer but just like the game itself, patience usually pays off. Thank you Global Golf for giving some of us the opportunity to play some expensive clubs and bettering our game.

Super Fast!

"I've read several bad reviews, but must say I could not be more pleased with my entire experience. I placed 3 separate orders over a 2 week period. First a set of Taylormade irons. Next a driver and fairway woods. Lastly, a new bag, putter and head covers for the woods. Every order arrived at my door in 4 days from ordering. I did not pay for expedited shipping. The clubs were at least in the condition advertised, many better. I could not be happier with my experience with Global Golf. "

As Promised

"Did the trade in of some old clubs I had sitting around. When I filled out the trade in request I was surprised how much they were worth. Best of all after the process I received a credit for the full amount as promised. I ordered a new driver at the same time and the trade in amount was credited to my credit card as promised. Love it when there are no surprises. Already sent in my second trade in of clubs for my new range finder. Great customer service when I called as well. Give them a try."

Slow shipping

"They charged me for ground and sent the package Fedex SmartPost. Worst shipping method possible besides DHL. Takes the USPS forever to process the delivery because they hold back Fedex Shipments as payback for the cheap contract price between Fedex and USPS. Global Golf needs to stop using Fedex SmartPost and stick to just standard ground service !"

Absolutely the worst online ordering experience I've ever had !!!

"I've ordered from the Global golf site in the past and have never had an issue until now.
I place a nearly $200. order on 9/17, received email confirmation of order a few minutes later. The site States that orders will normally ship within one day, if it would take an extra day, no big deal. On 9/21 I receive an email stating that there was a problem with my order and it hadn't yet shipped. I would think that a sore that boasts that orders will normally ship within one day would take more pride and not wait until 4 days later to make the customer aware of an issue. Anyway I sent an answer to their email voicing my opinion of the situation. A little while later that morning I receive another email from customer service that my order has been upgraded to 2 day shipping and promised it would ship that day 9/21 and I'd receive email confirmation with tracking info. So here it was 2 days later, 9/23 and I hadn't received the email with tracking info that was promised, so I decided to call and see what was going on. I spoke to a very nice woman who looked into and much to my displeasure she's found that my package was still in the warehouse and hadn't shipped yet. No explanation, except the package was ready to ship. I honestly don't get it. The customer service rep then told me she'd reach out to the manager working in the warehouse and call me back in a few minutes after she could figure out why my order hadn't shipped after promising that it would ship two days earlier. After 4 hours of waiting on the rep to call back I decided to call again. At this point I'm just fed up with the whole situation and decided to cancel my order.
The first rep I spoke to was nice enough to offer me a store credit to keep my business, but after this horrific ordeal I'll never order from Global Golf again so why would I want a store credit. There are far too many other reputable sites out there that have the same product. I actually ordered the same exact order from a competitor and saved myself just under $30. Not only will I not order again, I will pass this on to my family, friends or anyone else who'll listen, not to deal with GlobalGolf I work at a golf club here where I live and talk to several people a day. GlobalGolf just doesn't care !!!

Wonderful Experience

"Bought 2 Full Sets of Used Clubs. Was able to piece a set of Callaway Men's Right Handed Stiff Irons, Hybrids & Woods matching as best as I could. Also put together a Taylor Made M2 Women's Left Set of Irons, Hybrids & Woods. The process was easy, the prices were extremely reasonable (I shopped many different sources) and delivery beat my expectations. Clubs got here and looked better than I was expecting. Many clubs looked brand new.

DO NOT BUY, YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF

"I bought a slightly used putter and it looked like someone played roller hockey with it. The paint chipped all over and seriously looks like they used it to demolish things. Trust me i understand that it was slightly used but i have had my old putter for over 15 years and is far and away in better shape than the garbage you gave me.

I was told buy there customer service that "The putter is completely playable and the wear is purely cosmetic."
Yes the putter still has metal, but i was embarrassed on what garbage i bought.

I will never buy from these crooks again and i recommend you dont either.
