"I should have checked on this one first as well. On 12/6 I ordered my 4 year old an MX outfit for Christmas dress-up. Account charged quickly but each time I checked on the order the website just said "processing". On 12/13 I emailed back to the order confirmation address asking when the order would ship and stating that if it would not be here by Christmas I wanted it canceled and refunded. 12/15 I get an email from Krista. O'Neal just got these outfits in their warehouse and couldnot guarantee me delivery. I emailed her back same day and said cancel and refund so I can get something locally. 12/22 I check...the order is still "processing" and no refund. I try to call, no answer. I email again to both email addresses, no response. 12/23 I call, and the phone rings a long time before I get someone to answer. Then they try to talk me out of canceling. No, its too late I say I just bought the outfit at local motorcycle shop. I ask how long the refund will take. The guy says usually 2 days but we are really busy with Christmas orders, etc. I say not good enough, you were supposed to cancel and refund on 12/15. I ask for a manager. Margaret tells me the refund has been processed. So we'll see. Would I have saved money? Not really. The small child's pant & jersey combo I ordered was $126. The set I bought locally included pants/jersey/gloves, and an HJC MX helmet for my little guy...$173 for all, tax included. And if they don't fit I can exchange easily."

"I had purchased over $1000 of clothing and gear from GMO in the last year due to close proximity and good prices. I ordered $300 of gear for my kids for Christmas. I was a few days after Jan 15th when I went in to simply exchange a helmet and goggles for the same brand/model in a larger size. Clerk and manager flatly refused even though I had my reciept, and the GMO labels were still attached,and the packaging was in perfect condition. Its not like I was trying to get a cash refund or commit fraud."Its Too Late- Our Policy Said No Refunds or Exchanges after Jan 15th." I know I missed a certain date but a little courtesy would have gone a long way.These guys sell fast and dirty - and provide poor treatment of customers. This is a good example of a low price not being a good value. Avoid at all costs. There are too many other companies who provide real customer service.I hope their rigid policy and poor customer treatment are worth losing thousands of dollars in sales from me and from my dirt bike group. Good riddens..."

"I had the intent to purchase a youth helmet that they did not have in stock. To compensate, they offered another color or $20 upgrade to better helmet that was worth $60 more with a 10 discount. It turns out that the helmet was too small so they offered an exchange for the smallest adult size at no extra charge. The exchange went smooth with no problems and I ended up with a better scull saver than I expected. "

"Poor shipping policies which lead to excessively long wait times for their products. Poor customer Service.
Ordered $216.94 in goods/3-day shipping at 06:19 PM, Saturday, May 1, 2004. No product 7 May so I called at 5:00PM Central, pressed option 3 "order tracking" and option 2 "Customer Service" with no real person avaliable. Left a message asking where my stuff was. Sent an E-mail 8 May 2004. No reply as of today, 10 May. Recieved a call on 10 May stating the items were recieved today "10 May and would be shipped in accordance with my order "three ground days at $39.00. Asked why it was not shipped until today and the lady stated they were shipping it in accordance with my order "3 ground days. OK, I know this, why did it take 9 days for them to get the stuff listed on their web site? She stated they were shipping it in accordance with my order "3 ground days.
Received the order on 13 May. This was 12 days after order. Product was great, just what I ordered. I will shop somewhere else with faster than 12 day delivery.

"Placed my order on monday morning 9/14. The boots that I ordered were discontinued and I got an email from Margaret notifying me of the boots. I changed my order and Margaret made the changes the following day. My order shipped out 9/18 and I got it on 9/22."

"I'm not one to slam a company for nothing, so I'll give the whole story and let you decide.

I was searching for some motorcycle gear and found Global Moto Outlet to be about the cheapest. I searched for reviews on them, but only found one and it was good. I usually like to find more reviews than that, but decided to order. I submitted an internet order for a helmet, boots and several clearance items on Tuesday, 8-12-03 about 5pm their time.

On Wednesday 8-13-03 I was called by Andrea and told that the boots I ordered were out of stock. I wasn't happy about the boots being out of stock, but was impressed they called. I changed my order to a different model and assumed my order would ship immediately. My credit card company got the charge on 8-14-03.

UPS shipping from California to me is usually only 2-3 days so I was expecting it possibly by Friday and definitely by the first of the week. On Tuesday 8-19-03 I hadn't heard or seen anything so I called customer service. Andrea answered. She said my order hadn't shipped yet because they were waiting on two items, both of which were clearance items. They sat on a several hundred dollar order for a week waiting on two cheap items. She told me they were expecting them anytime and my order would probably ship that day or the next. When I questioned here about sitting on my order for a week she said their policy is to ship within 5-8 days. The only 5-8 days mentioned on their site is the normal UPS delivery time. How can they sit on it for 8 days and still expect it to arrive in 8 days.

I called the next day, Wednesday 8-20-03. Andrea answered again. Order still not shipped. I asked if they could ship what they had. She mumbled about the cost to ship two packages. She also said they were within their 5-8 days, by whose calendar I don't know. She finally said my order would ship the next day whether the other items arrived or not. I wasn't happy, but knowing the order would come soon was some solace.

Today, Tuesday 8-26-03 I called order tracking, as the order must have shipped by now. Right? Andrea answered again, only employee I guess. My order still hasn't shipped. I repeated what she told me, that my order was supposed to be shipped thursday. I also said it was beyond their bogus 5-8 day policy anyway. She told me no one would have said that, so I must have misunderstood. What can be misunderstood about "we'll ship tomorrow"? After repeating the entire history of this process to her I canceled my order. She said she would cancel it and I hung up.

The worst part about this whole thing is being lied to. I let her string me along with promises and expectations that it would ship and let it go.

Now, since they've had my money for almost two weeks I called my credit card company and filed a dispute.
