If you depend on your part order being fulfilled, I would look to a more reliable source.

"I needed a com 1 port adapter for my motherboard and found one from GLOBUS COMPUTER'S website. It was hard to find this computer part anywhere, but luckily found from GLOBUS.

"We have decided to buy a new family PC that will be used in home office for every day computing needs, entertaining, online movies, music, gaming, emailing, face book…..It will need lots of hard drive space, memory and good graphics.

We had choices from several computer companies. Then finally we bought our computer from Globus Computer. We personalized our computer with video card that supports two lcd monitors. We already had a 19” lcd monitor, we bought another wide-screen monitor from local retail store instead of shipping from Globus.

The ordering process from GLOBUS COMPUTER was excellent, the delivery was excellent and the set-up was easy.

We must say, their prices are the lowest we could find on computers and their PCs are made with quality parts.

Plus, the shipping arrived before the scheduled time. The computer works great and it works well with both of my lcd monitors.

"I have bought three computers from GLOBUS since year 2000. 10 years has passed (time flys by so fast!), I'm very happy with the quality, service and price of GLOBUS COMPUTER.

My first computer from GLOBUS is still running, although it is slower comparing to current multi-core coomputers. I'm using it just as a back up computer, it still works!

I bought a very fast comoputer recently. The onboard sound is great for play mp3 music with the subwoofer speaker I bought from GLOBUS years a ago. However, the the sound card is not good enough for skype. The sound quality is not clear to call through Skype. GLOBUS went to extra miles to diagnose and recomend.

They upgrade the sound card to Creative sound blaster sound card. Now I can speak to my oversea relatives through Skype. It is worth of upgrading the sound card.

"I bought the GLOBUS CUBE AMD2000A partly because of some good reviews about this company and referrals from my classmates in the campus. I customized it with AMD Phenom II x2 545 3.0GHz Dual-Core processor, 4GB DDR2 memory and 1TB sata 3.0Gb/s hard drive because the memory and hard drive are really cheap these days. When I got the computer, I noticed that the speed of this computer was not the same as I expected but it was better. Then I found out from the invoice they gave to me that they free upgraded the CPU speed to AMD Phenom II x2 550 3.1GHz (invoice indicated “FREE upgrade to AMD Phenom II x2 550 3.1GHz Dual-Dore processor)! Although the computer is not the most top of the line for an ultimate machine, it is respectable for my most computing needs. And it is cute too. It is the best price for this category of computers I can find, and it is better than paying $1200 for a 'gaming' system and throwing away the extra $700 or so you'd expect to spend on a 'gaming' system for a minimal performance increase. This is a real good bargain with performance and quality parts. I would recommend GLOBUS to my friends. GLOBUS is professional and customer oriented. And above all, you call find good bargain there too. "

"I have been dealing with Globus for at least a period of 5 years. Ever since I was a junior in college and started tinkering with computer hardware.

I bought my first 2 computers from Globus back then and I was amazed at thier customer service. When there was a defect in one of the components in the computer, Globus helped me diagnose the issue and promptly replaced the bad component.

Needless to say, I was blown away at the level of technical knowledge, professionalism, and customer service.

With a plethora of computer stores in the Gwinnett area of Atlanta, I have found Globus to have the best pricing, quality products, and not to mention once again, their awesome customer service.

When I took on my current position as an IT manager for a school, it was a no-brainer as to who I would pick to build my servers and workstations. I run a cluster of 7 Linux servers and they were all built by Globus as well as about 15 other workstations in the school. If this is not a testament to the superior service I received and continue to recieve from Globus, then I don't know what is.

When a problem arose re: cd rewritable drive did not recognize my Windows XP Home, tech support promptly replied my email and walked me through the steps of checking CMOS setup, hard drive format and OS installations. Overall, I experienced a professional, courteous, customer-centered attitude from this seller - a rare commodity these days. Communication was very prompt also - I received email reply within 15 minutes of sending an e-mail. Count me a satisfied customer - will recommend seller to others."

"The computer I ordered arrived without any memory installed. When I informed customer service, they insinuated that either I or someone in the US Postal Service stole the memory. I find it highly unlikely that someone in the Postal System opened up the computer case, removed ONLY the memory, and sealed the case back up. Had Globus sent out the computer with a tamper evident seal, we could have easily determined when and where the memory disappeared.

In a latter email, the service representative stated that they had installed memory that was different than what was advertised. While this memory is better (DDR333 advertised, DDR400 “installed”) this memory is not compatible with the motherboard, according to the documentation accompanying the motherboard. I definitely feel uncomfortable working with a company that does not adhere to manufacturer specifications.

The customer service representative made no efforts to remedy the solution, and instead fell back on the probable company policy of never admitting fault. I would discourage anyone from doing business with this company, as they clearly are not concerned with the well being of their customers. I would rate the customer service found here one step below that at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

This company has lost all future business from me, my company, and my colleagues all because they refused to “replace” $34 worth of memory. I highly suggest you look elsewhere for your computer need.
