"I used Glyde for five transactions in the month of July. Three purchases (video games) and two sales (iPhone 4s and an iPhone 4).
Out of the three game purchases, only one was satisfactory(LA Noire). One purchase was for Halo 4, a two disc game which the seller only sent the second disc, no disc one. Glyde refunded my payment, thankfully. The last game was never shipped to me, so my money was refunded nearly 3 weeks after my purchase. I'm thankful I wasn't anxious for these two games.
The sale of the iPhone 4 went satisfactory, as I'm sure most transactions do. The 4s however, did not. The phone was a certified refurb straight from Verizon, never used by me except to boot and verify it was clean. It was a replacement I paid for with my insurance. The phone was rejected by the seller, claiming that the screen was defective (which it wasn't when I shipped it). When I got it back, it had been obviously tampered with. The screen was on loosely, and the back plate was warped. I sent pictures to Glyde both before and after, verifying the serial), and voiced my concern that the buyer had removed the screen from my phone and swapped it with a defective one.
All of my emails to Glyde are archived on my computer, but I'm sure Julie with customer service can verify them.
I will be very wary of using this service in the future."
