"I'm ready for my 19th Go Ahead tour in November. Enough said!!!!!!!!!!!!"
"Our trip was much more exciting than we could ever have expected. Our tour guide David was just the best. Everything moved along smoothly from start to finish. We enjoyed the train ride so much. Would love to take another trip soon. "
"I like the care I'm given by the Go Ahead staff. Of the 14 tours I've taken, only one tour director was less than excellent. The places I've seen with either my family or friends have been outstanding. I've booked yet another tour to Puglia. I consider the value along with the knowledge and care to be the top 3 reasons I have continued to use Go Ahead."
"I have enjoyed all my tours with this company. If there are problems you are having they step right up and fix. Really liked that there is free time to explore on your own as well as their very well set up sights to see. Those are morning and afternoon is yours. If you want you can even go somewhere with them in the afternoon. That does cost extra but not too much. I am hoping for another trip in 2 years for my 75th birthday. I have made 4 of them so far. Thanks,GoAhead for for some very great memories.

"A superb trip with an OUTSTANDING guide."
"I wrote a detailed review which is shown on your reviews."
"My wife and I went on our honeymoon with go ahead tours we had a great time. Tini Gazzatto was a fantastic tour director."
"For our first trip to Europe, we are very happy we chose Go Ahead Tours. Go Ahead made everything so easy and we got to hit all the major sites...having a Tour Director made all the difference for us and Emlilio was was wonderful and so very helpful."
"Before you go to Rome you need to do your research. Our tour set us up to go to Vatican on Tuesday and Coliseum Wednesday. If I had researched better, would have gone on my own to Vatican on Wednesday, the day the Pope makes appearance, and Coliseum on Tuesday. Our guide at the Forum was hot and apparently didn't want to be bothered and would not allow us to go through and see all the ruins. We stood under a tree for shade and listened to him talk for 15 min. then "back to the bus." I was livid! Transportation in Rome is not like Paris or London and you need to take bus or cab to get around if you want to see the whole city. Watch for Gypsies."
"This tour was simply amazing. We experienced such beautiful sites in all of the national pearls and cities that we visited. We also has plenty of free time to do as we pleased and have dinner where we chose to eat. The hotel accommodations were excellent as well as the breakfasts. We really were pleased with Stevyn our tour director. He was always teaching us something new and the side trips he planned were also great. The buses were comfortable and we never felt overcrowded at all. All I can say is that if you're interested in seeing what is here in our beautiful country and have a renewed appreciation for its beauty please take this tour you will be amaized. I have done quite a bit of traveling and this is one of my top tours. This is my first time using GoAhead Tours but will not be my last. My husband and I were very pleased. "
"Myself, my sister, niece and granddaughter took out first Go Ahead tour in June. It was the Family Tour of London and Paris. Our experience was a good one. Our guide was personable, fun and knowledgeable and was great at handling all of the trip details for us. We saw the main tour sites in both cities with the Go Ahead guide and expert commentators. She was extremely helpful with recommendations and planning for our personal excursions. The hotels were very nice and conveniently located. We enjoyed the 'Family Tour' atmosphere with family members of all ages. All in all, it was a very positive and rewarding travel arrangement and I would recommend it to anyone considering similar travel goals."
"We had a lovely vacation with Go Ahead tours. We went on the London and Paris Family tour. We enjoyed our guide Cathy. Our boys 11 and 14, enjoyed having other kids to hang out with and most of the tours were interesting for both adults and younger people. My biggest complaint and what may keep me from booking with them again, is that they did not book us adjoining rooms. The rooms were next door to each other, but my husband and I had to choose to either sleep in separate rooms from each other, each with one child, or trust our children in a room by themselves. "
"I learned about the destruction of Pompeii, Italy, when I was in the fifth grade and had dreamed of seeing it for over fifty years. However, the perfect time to travel never presented itself. Husband, job, kids, parents, grandkids...there was always someone who needed me. I finally, at sixty-seven, decided that if I was ever going to achieve my dream I had better do it, so I did, by myself. My family and friends survived the fifteen days I spent traveling Italy, Greece, and Santorini Island. Instead of being alone, I found myself surrounded by new best friends.
We were joined by a knowledgeable guide specific to each place we visited. Histories of Pompeii, the Coliseum, Vatican City, and the highlights of magnificent Roma herself were intelligently related. At the end of each day, we had choices of my more cultural experiences or to simply relax in our luxurious hotel...or, of course, go shopping.
It was the same in fantastic Greece where the Acropolis left me breathless as well as speechless. Santorini Island was an added excursion I almost passed up. I am so very happy I didn't. The excavation at Akrotiri was better than Pompeii! Although the island could have been a time to wind down after an exhausting tour, there was still more to experience: the people. On the short stroll from our exceptional hotel to the black sand beach, I passed a tiny old woman cultivating her tomatoes and cucumbers (grown in five-gallon utility buckets and any other container she could find). Without the benefit of a shared language, I asked if I could take her picture. She ended up showing me her garden and her home, which was as tiny as she was.
I came home with 922 pictures and printed them all. Because of my age, I like picture albums and guess what? My grandchildren (10 and 12), think they are a fabulous novelty and spend hours pouring over my pictures, asking questions, which lends me the opportunity to teach them about the world and our magnificent history.
Thank you, Go-Ahead Tours! I want to explore Egypt next. Who knew?"
"Loved this tour! We had a small group, comfortable bus ,and good hotels.Pasquale was a great bus driver and Paulo was a wonderful guide ! The itinerary was perfect, as we saw something fabulous each day. I enjoyed Southern Italy much more than I thought I would. I am ready to go back!
I was so lucky to visit a town that 2 Grandparents were born in and it was a Unesco Site.Paulo was able to track down a distant relative for me.Turns out they were 3 doors down from where we were all eating lunch! He even translated for me. It is a day I will never forget, on a tour that was already wonderful!! Thank you for this experience!

"I was very pleased with our tour to London, Paris and Rome. The tours went as planned, hotels were good but VERY small. As I had been to Europe before, I thought the breakfasts in the hotels left a lot to be desired. On my previous trips to England, our guide was a non-stop wealth of information. I was disappointed our guides did not point out many landmarks that I learned of previously. They spoke very little of the fascinating line of kings and queens. In Rome, we drove by the Vittorio Emmanuel Monument, but our guides never mentioned it. If they had the information, it would have been nice to tell the group. As a whole it was a good trip and I would recommend Go Ahead Tours. "
