"sofa set from Goedeker's and had a set delivery for 9/20 on 9/20 they said two pieces was there but was waiting on third piece so needless to say that never happened. On 10/15 I received a bill saying my credit card had been charged full price and my bill was due for something I had never received. So then I called Goedeker's and asked how am I being charged for something I don't have and was told once I make the purchase the card is charged and basically I have no choice but to pay in wait. On 10/15 she gave me the delivery companies telephone number to check up with them on location of the furniture something that they should be doing.
The delivery company said they was still waiting on the last piece of furniture and did not have any more information. I then called the credit card company, closed the account, disputed the charge, and called Goedeker's and told them keep their furniture. On 10/16 I received call from delivery company that they would deliver 10/26 which I canceled cause I had work. Then received another email saying they would be there on 10/29 which again I have work so had to get someone to go out of their way for me because these people do not believe in scheduling anything.
So on 10/30 I call the delivery company. Tell them I won't be home and will need a 30 minute ETA to have someone go out to my house. A girl takes my number. Says no problem. At 430 I get a call from my 14-year-old daughter. Says the furniture company here. I talk to the delivery serviceman. Tell him I have someone on the way. It will be 10 minutes. 5 minutes later my daughter calls back. Say the delivery man ask her where is the person. He can't wait all day. He has to go. I then get him back on the phone and tell him the guy is 3 min away and he tell me he can't wait so I told him load his stuff up I don't need it.
So just as they are loading everything my friend shows up to inspect everything. He then inspects everything then they bring it inside. Once inside everything is in pieces. The Furniture guy ask him to sign for delivery. He then turned to the guy and said, "I can't sign until it put together." Come to find out Goedeker's don't pay them to Assemble. So the shipping fee of 100.00 is a total rip off. How can you make sure everything works before they leave if you have to Assemble. On 10/30 I called Goedeker's and they swore it was on a delivery option and it's not. It's actually on the policy and it's one word hidden in the policies. I will never do business with this company again."
