"Last year I bought a Rolex Submariner from them. The whole process was smooth and successful, no issues. Because of my first experience, I purchased a second watch from them on July 12. That was a huge mistake on my part and would never ever purchase from them again.
The watch was a Rolex Explorer II listed as new with a 5 year inhouse warranty. First watch shipped the next day by FedEx overnight. Upon initial inspection the watch looked good but instead of sending me a 5 year warranty, they sent me a 2 year warranty plus the Rolex booklet that was included was for the Rolex Explorer nor Explorer II. The watch appeared to be running fine so I next charged up the lume to see how the dial glowed. What I found was the lume dot at 11 did not glow at all! I contacted them and they sent me a return label and I shipped it back.
The second watch now arrives quickly. First thing I do is wind it up and test the lume. The watch works and the lume is fine. The warranty certificate is 5 years. So far so good. I then turn the watch over to find the back of the case is engraved! How can a "new" watch be engraved? I send them a message in the morning and when I get no quick reply, I call customer service. The person I spoke to was very apologetic. He told me he was sending the information to his manager and someone would call me back shortly.
This is where the real fun begins. Of course nobody calls me back. The next day I receive the return shipping label. I message them that I am disappointed it took a day to get the label as it is now Thursday and they would get it Friday but they don't ship over the weekend to get the new watch to me. I do receive a quick reply that they will ship it on Friday for a Saturday delivery. Friday comes and they acknowledge receipt of my return but now say they won't ship the new watch until Tuesday! They can't ship it Monday because they have reached their shipping quota for Monday.
On Tuesday the watch does not ship. There is no communication from them. I message them and get no quick reply so I ask for a refund. Now they have become silent. I finally have to go to Chrono24 mediation the next day (Wednesday). They cancel the order for me. In the evening, I get a message from the seller that the reason they didn't ship my watch on Friday or Monday or Tuesday is because they are so busy but they can ship in on Thursday. I tell them I want a refund and based on the quality of the first two supposedly new watches they sent me and the delay in shipping a third, I no longer want to deal with them as I don't trust them. Please refund my money.
Today, I finally received the refund. So thankfully the ordeal is over and I can purchase the watch from a more reliable dealer.
A little honesty goes a long way and they refused to me honest with me. I think the reason they never shipped the third watch was that they didn't have one in stock. Rather than tell me there would be a delay in shipping as they were trying to source another watch, they decided to ignore me. Secondly, what they sell as new it seems is not really new. These are returns and defects that they hope they can pass off as new as they look perfect at first glance. I would have been disappointed in a delay of shipping if they had been honest. This way, they lost a customer.

"Men's SSG Datejust was NOT as described. Had hidden damage. After an appraisal by an authorized dealer I now realize I paid thousands of dollars more than the watch is worth.
A few other notes:
If you have Goldwatchco take a link out of the band or do anything to the watch then you are subject to a restocking fee which their website does not indicate how much the fee will be.
You only have 3 days to make a return and you have to reach them in order for GWC to issue you an RMA.
Their descriptions say "all paperwork included". This does NOT mean a Rolex warranty card or Rolex documentation. GWC issues you their own 5 year warranty.
Rolex service centers usually will not service nor repair gray area watches.

"I bought a Rolex from this Company 3 years ago and an appraisal was included with it. My insurance company recently wanted an update, so I had it reappraised. It turned out that the watch was 40 years old and GW had put a new band and dial on it and passed it off as a newer watch. My appraiser said the crystal is not from Rolex, and because of this, the bezel keeps splitting, and the crystal pops off. Needless to say, it appraised for much less than what I paid for it. The watch already needs to be sent back to Rolex because it is not working properly. Unfortunately, I was told that Rolex will return it to it’s original state at a substantial cost, so I have to find someone else who would be willing to repair it, which is not easy to do. I am very disappointed, and now I feel like I have a fake Rolex."
