As I was studying the transaction screen, she had the audacity to say, “ most people, say, ‘thank you’. I told her that I was checking the screen because the sign on the rack stated the items were 50% off. She said it was buy one get one 50% off. I told her the sign said, 50% off all Byer products. She came around the counter & proceeded to the rack holding the tops. As she got closer to me, I told her that I had heard her comment & told her she was rude. She said she was not rude. I told her she “was rude & that her customers were not as stupid as she thought they were. She said, “I didn’t say you were stupid”. I said, “no, you just spoke to me as if I were”. She said, “I’m not going to argue with you.”When she arrived at the rack, she found the sign I told her was there, removed it & rang up my 50% off purchase. She did apologize. Too late!"
