"as I was shopping I was looking for a particular brand and I asked an associate one young lady was going to help me but another lady told her they didn't carry the brand there was 3 of them sitting right out side the register area in chairs on there phones and talking to each other and then I found the brand that they told me yall didn't carry it was a little bit upsetting I've never been treated this way before at any Goody's just wanted yall to know"

Also while we were shopping, Sarah, offered to help us and she was very sweet and kind. This was our first visit to this store. We live in Calhoun and drive to LaFayette (ours closed and we were up that way). Anyway everyone there was so helpful. My wife found LOTS of deals (as usual lol). Overall I would visit this store again!"

"At the time I visited this morning, only two associates were in the store. I was greeted by your Associate (Nyjah) and I asked if they carried a specific pullover shirt. She told me they had some that were in the markdowns and she immediately took me to that location. We found a couple in my size and we went to the checkout. Her concern was for her associate who was either not feeling well or dealing with a family issue of concern. Nyjah was very professional in not confiding but very concerned about her coworker and she was very professional in her duties to me as a customer. I have used Goodys in Thomson, GA for a number of years. Thankful to have one available to me here in Lafayette, GA."

"The store layout was nice. The smell, signs, openness, cleanliness was great. I did not see an associate or anyone when I walked in the store. I did notice name brand items right away. I also did notice the name brand items were expensive. The clearance section was easy to find due to signs but the price on the tags was not correct (to my benefit) but looking at the price on the tags I chose to put some items back or not even purchase them at all. Also I looked at the clearance shoes, what I had orginally thought was the price because it was written in big red writing was the size. I had assumed it was the price since it was in the clearance section and usually red and a number indicates the price. Anyway, the shoes on clearance were higher than I wanted to pay. Those were the minor things I noticed about the store. What I did not like was when I was ready to checkout, I could not find an associate. I stood at the register and waited, hoping someone would notice I was ready to checkout. I looked around the store and did not see anyone. I looked for a button or bell to ring and did not find any. I still waited and nothing. I finally got tired of waiting, thought about just leaving without purchasing because this was ridiculous. And then I just said really loud, I am ready to checkout. Finally I seen an associate. However, she was not smiling or apologizing when she came to check me out. I had to thank her instead of her thanking me for shopping there. Unfortunately, even though my pants had a $21 price and they ran up for $4.99 (Super great deal!) I probably will never go back in the store unless I am with a family member or friend that wants to go. Customer service is a big deal to me because I work as a retail rep and merchandiser. If I get bad service I just simply refuse to go back, I can go to a million other stores that offer the same product with a smiling face and not have to yell across the store, I AM READY TO CHECKOUT."
