"I was very unhappy as the item that I was purchasing was marked with a sign of red background reading SWEATERS 50% off CURRENT MARKED PRICE NOT 50% off the original price. The children's sweaters I was purchasing had an original price of $34 with a red edged reduced price of $16.99. 50% off the current price would have been $8.50 BUT they did not honor the displayed sign. The manager talked to the clerk, not me, and said the current marked price meant the same as the original. I have taught English and spoken the language all of my life and current marked price does not equal the original price. You lied to me and you are bearing false witness and false advertising. I held Goody's to a higher standard and I am very disappointed that they did not honor the advertised merchandise for the advertised price. I bought the items but I probably will NEVER go in your stores again as I do not care to spend my hard earned money with those who take advantage of me. I also had a shopping p***. You did not practice fair trade with me."
