"Awful! Worst experience ever in this Goodys- prices are not as marked. I purchased a $98 jacket, which was on a 60% clearance rack, making the price $39.20 before tax. I had 2 $20 payback rewards, good on anything in the store. Only 1 could be applied by the sales associate. She tried to explain that the other $20 had been applied to the original price, but this is not mathematically possible.i ended up having to buy a second item on a separate transaction in order to use the 2nd reward. In that transaction, the Estee Lauded beauty was advertised as 10% off the posted price of $26 but I was charged $29 (no 10% off). In all, the jacket transaction that should have been $0.74 was $20.74 and the makeup purchase cost $9.72. I am greatly disappointed with what appears to be dishonest business practices and will not return to these brick and mortar stores."

"Selection is limited and overpriced. Corporate policies, as explained by the sales associates who were ringing up the purchases, dictate that a customer may not use the full value of multiple rewards in combination with discounts. This was not available in writing; in fact, the payback rewards specifically stated that they could be used in combination with any other deal. Moreover, the advertised discounts are misleading (posted outside of store - 50%; upon entry, a long list of exclusions is found, including many name-brand items which are significantly discounted at other retailers). Items that were marked with specific discounts were not honored at the register or could not be used in the aforementioned able to be combined with any other offer payback rewards. As a long-time customer, this seemed disingenuous. Moreover, the cashiers argued with me in front of other customers, and, when I asked for the corporate number, replied that it was on the receipt - and it was not. Unfortunately, after many years of service, I was not made to feel like a valued customer. I will not recommend Stage stores to anyone in the future."
