As long as you prove you are a hard worker and respectful of guests, management will work with you on your work/life balance.The team stops feeling like a team, and feels more like family. I keep coming back seasonally just because of the positive work environment."

"It was a great experience for the most part. The young lady working at the register (Megan) saves my experience that day. She was very nice. She looked up my membership id, told me the item I bought was unsale, asked if I would like to sign up for a credit card. I just felt like she covered any questions I might have. I saw a couple other employees working there but none of them asked if I was finding everything ok or if I needed any help. They avoided eye contact."

"There was one checkout and that was at the end (closest to the door) yet the Please wait here sign was at the first register in the line. I'd estimate about 50' apart. Which makes sense if it were the holidays. But all the registers leading up to the one that was open were being used for storage and such. The clerk should have looked down and told everyone to come closer or better yet the manager should have taken down the sign. It was very confusing to some people who actually tried to get in line behind the customer who was checking out because they didn't see the line of people 50' down the way. But apparently the people in line were the type of people who obey signs so we all stayed back."

"I always find what I need at gordman's. I enjoy shopping there due to the variety of items available. My only regret is that the store is in the next state (WI) since the store near me in Illinois closed down. This just means I shop less frequently than I used to at Gordmans."
